I’m not sure which categories are useful for the placement of this but I’d like to see if any of y’all have named your ceremonial tools or ritual blades… like this one: Na’amah. Cro ma’at!

Ooh, I hadn’t thought of that but I like it.
I think I would name my athame Tann, after le moi, Tannariel, given it’s an extension of me, after all. Might have to get into state and have that conversation with it to confirm.

I would use any method that calls to you… You can stand up and declare it, you can use white light or sage the same way you’d banish a room but imbue the energy intentionally that you are naming this knife, you can enchant it, which is similar to conversating it, you can have a little dedication ceremony.

And if you are short of time, simply ground yourself, point at the thing and say with intention “I name you X” and so it is.
