šŸ‘» Where are all the ghost posts?

Thanks @IrisAthena

Everything you said makes a lot of sense so thank you. I did hear another story similar situation where they felt that death changed a family member for the better as well, giving them a new perspective as you mentioned.

I’m glad to hear that about your grandfather. That’s a really sweet story. And it’s nice to know that those suffering from ill health really won’t have to suffer any longer when they pass on

You’re welcome & thank you.

I have only seen what I consider a ghost one time. I was in a cemetery at dusk and this greenish glowing mist manifested a couple of yards away from me, traveled several yards, and faded out.

Aww my grandma’s cat still comes back to me too but somehow his vibe feels more and more human-like and powerful over the years… maybe he’ll become a nekomata spirit or something… if that’s really a thing…

And I also had a ghost roommate once, although mine was rather beneficial and we loved him. You should give yours a name. I learnt that giving spirits names establishes a relationship and a certain degree of control over them. Not intrusive, just enough for you to work with them when you need to. Like, to at least make them pay attention to what you have to say.

Not a bad idea, Ill have to try that!

Oh, boy, this is my thread.
I knew from a very young age that I could interact with unseen energies and entities. I’m not comfortable with the label of ā€œmediumā€ because they tend to be scam artists. I call myself ā€œspiritually sensitive.ā€ When I was a kid, 9 or 10, I went to an awful boring Halloween event with my parents to a museum connected to a Victorian mansion. I know I saw the former owner because I can recognize him in photos to this day.

It really kicked into high gear when I went to college. The college I attended, a really small one in the fingerlakes, was founded in 1890. There were ghosts everywhere, and when I moved into the dorm that used to be the original classrooms, it was like Danny in the Overlook, I woke that fucking place up. My old roommate can still tell you how scary it was to be woken up at 1AM to things moving, and how I had to shout at them to cut it out.

My first sexual experience was with a ghost, and he’s stuck around me since then. I’ve since realized I’m asexual/aromantic and want little to do with living people. I have a whole team of haters who just think I’m batshit insane.

Since beginning my work with demons in 2016, my third eye has opened up again, but it seems like the dead people don’t like to be around when they are.

Same here. One of my spirit guides told me the same thing. She’s my sister… go figure.

That’s very strange… then probably the ones communicating with me are my spirit guides as well. They seem to avoid giving any details about their identity but that’s ok with me. They’re really good people, whoever they are.

Thank you so much,

Relatable ma dude. If its any consolation, I’m open enough to do the same. Did your spirit partner speak with you?

yep, and follows me everywhere… I have to tell him to stay out of public bathrooms

Roughly 80% of my ghost stories are boring. That’s why I don’t post them. :joy:

I’ve noticed stories of ghosts from none Magicians are ā€œomg it was scaryā€ or ā€œI need to exorcise itā€ kind of things but never any depth of understanding or trying.

Most Ghost stories I see from Magicians are about Ancestors, Spirit Guides or other Spirit creatures they talk to and work with. I think that’s why there isn’t a lot of stories about creepy shadows or see-through people that we run away from.
We normally don’t run and something in our homes usually get investigated or banished lol.

My experience of Ghost !!!

I’ve always believed in spirits and stuff like that. Mostly because I saw spirits couple times as a kid. When I was a child I didn’t feel scared at all of them. I think that adults told me that I had the reason to be afraid of ā€˜paranormal’ stuff… So I got scared of ghosts and didn’t see them for a long time.

When I moved to this house where I currently live I started to get really into occultism and witchcraft. I read about them and searched any info I got in my hands. Here I saw also a ghost first time in over ten years. But it wasn’t a nice spirit. It watched me when I slept and tried to scare me (successfully). Crazy stuff happened here really…

So my friend did a ritual and I was part of it. That was btw my first ritual ever . And we got rid of that spirit. I actually think that this experience was really important for me and for my magickal journey to begin.

Since then I’ve had some other ghosts here too. But they haven’t bothered me since they have only been passing by.

I’ve mainly seen them as a child and hear them working around the living room from my bedroom. I can’t remember seeing them in my house as a kid, only hear them, also weird noises outside, everyone heard those and one time when the lights were out, I saw the handle for our back door turn but our house was supposedly haunted(and the area of the town I grew up in was also supposedly a hotspot for paranormal and practitioners) and has had more than one deaths before and after I lived there. One who was also a practitioner of black magick and he died randomly, so. I guess it should be ā€œnormalā€ for a lot of that stuff to happen for a few years after his death. It all calmed down after a while. The few I’ve remember seeing were outside my house, always walking quickly to one place and disappearing right there. I saw this at a relative’s house that lived close by too. Another time was at a Church’s cemetery, my mother was there too and saw, they crossed the street from where the cemetery was then disappeared right in front of us. Across from there in a field, we also saw another running there at late night then disappeared. Each time they were all pale white dressed in while from my memory but this one was glowing white. It’s the most I remember about my experiences.

I did not feel anything paranormal until I turned 12, but whenever I ask my parents, turns out our family do have a few experiences with ghosts.

:ghost: When I was just 3 years old we lived in this townhouse wherein the previous family’s child died due to sickness. My father would tell me he’d often find the ball he put in one of the top shelves bouncing down and rolling onto the floor, as if someone was playing with it. He’d put it back, only to find it on the floor again later. Throughout the short time we lived there, my mother and I got very sick to the point that we were both rushed to the hospital and confined for quite a while. Lots of accidents happened there as well, including one I do remember: I fell off a stool and hit my head on the concrete. Had to get stitched up and until this day, I still have an unnoticeable bald spot in my head to prove it. My father said, ā€œWhile that townhouse was beautiful, I just felt there was something off about it. The vibes were strange. That’s why we moved.ā€

:ghost: We rented an apartment back in 2010 which, seemed pretty harmless at first. Very, very unlucky shit happened though, it was like a hailstorm of misfortunes and hurricane of tragedies all at once because it was just so sudden and never-ending. From all aspects of our lives too. Throughout all those, the television would keep switching channels until it usually stays on an English-speaking news channel (I live in an Asian country so majority of the TV channels aren’t in Eng). Fast-forward to moving day, we find out that an Iranian(?) man actually committed suicide and hung himself there years ago because his girlfriend left him.

:ghost: My mother just revealed to me months ago that she used to see spirits naturally when she was just a kid, that’s why she hates anything horror-themed and is wary of me reading cards (ā€œOne strange occurrence and those cards will be thrown out ASAPā€).
She would hear sweeping outside their garden and banging of pots, pans and plates during/after midnight. Once, she even felt someone walking over her and stepping on her head. She told me she ended up crying herself to sleep frequently when she was young.
She also encountered a ghastly woman dressed in white, black hair down to her bare feet floating down the road while out Christmas caroling with her friends. Her friends said they did not see anything, much to her shock and horror. She had a major fever after the incident. After that, her ability to see spirits was completely gone.
