In my experience of that it wasn’t so much of a choice however. I did raise my vibration on my own with different methods but how they did it is like you could never ground your self like ever. I have tried everything and nothing worked. However when I started to work with the Goetia I was immediately grounded and let me tell you we take being grounded for granted. I felt I had never truly touched the Earth or my magic to do much except the healing kind until now.
I would also have to add this one to my list. Not being properly grounded for what ever reason is not pretty. Especially to a witch that works with plants and such. It’s like you don’t hear or sense them. But once grounded it’s like everything changes. You feel more solid and more stable. So definitely make tweaks if need to be. Grounding is like one of the main pillars per say.

Guess îl share mine not necessarily retarded but dumb :)) , took some shrooms , did raziel path working , on what should do next , saw arachne. , I’m like hmmm yeah sure why not , i try to evoke her to ask her to remove a curse that i thought was placed on me. ,instead she put me through her trials … Lucky me , guess who got wrekt in all areas is life in the next few months ? Yep me and hard :)) , hope this will end soon , maybe is not what I wanted but what i needed … life is hard so far 
Note : she has been lovely even will all that to be fair :)) kicking my ass with love 
Had to give up smoking since i have heart issues , every time i try to pick up smoking she trashes me in the astral while reading poetry :))) , i only vape now , and still not that much

If a man wants to have kids he needs literally balls, like testicles, but it’s also saying he needs balls in the sense of he takes risks and is a man.
So physically he has balls but he also needs metaphorical balls or guts to have kids.
“Damn he’s got some balls to do that!”
Their basically saying he is a man or has guts cuss he takes risks.

Actually the most retarded thing was never using a defined circle and proper safety precautions in ritual.
My Neophyte Golden Dawn initiation, trying to follow along, and remember as much as possible, had my temple ghetto-rigged, including the four candles for the directions in flimsy “knock me over” candle glass holders, with the altar in the center and my wonderful silk tau robe and black and white nemyss. All weapons on the altar, I was about to become an Adept! Until in one circumabulation, knocked over a candle and nearly caught the carpet on fire. Thank gods the water cup still had water in it and I didn’t self combust.

This one literally just happened less than ten minutes ago, drained myself so much and over did a ritual to the point i passed out and my temple area went up in flames about two hours i woke up and everything was on fire, house filled with smoke 
such a rookie mistake lucky no one else was here

Surprisingly only the candles and the board it was on, but we’re talking like a full size large dining table lot of high flames to the ceiling, the craziest part is my fabric gateway didnt burn or even get a mark and it was basically in that fire

I’ve seen some burned places and sometimes the smoke marks left shapes where you can see faces and bodies.

Not that I suffered great consequences but I used to half ass them or not do defensive work at the first place. Be it a banishing or warding. I was lucky to not get busted and attacked, thankfully. But it is dumb.

Filled my temple room with so much incense that I almost suffocated, and when I opened the window to air it out, the billowing clouds of smoke made my neighbours knock on the door asking if my house was on fire
