Daemon and Demon are 2 entirely different things in definition and religious perspective. Daemons are intermediary spirits between gods and men, more like angels of the gods who give messages and do tasks for men and gods. Demons are evil spirits, simply a spirit of ANY given type that has chose to forego morality and be inherently destructive to others for ones own self-gain.
Thats my 2 cents, you may see differently.
Demons are the ancient gods of chaos. Demons like giving the most strenuous work in chaos for the best results. Ofcourse they can love very deeply.

This was off topic for the OP that was about communicating with succubi, but a worthy topic in it’s own right, so I’ve moved it out here and invite more opinions.
What do you guys think? is there any real relationship between the Greek definition of Daemon as in neutral discarnate being, “demon” as a higher being found in medieval occult grimoiric tradition, and the use of “demon” as lesser being/parasite “warning: do not approach”.
For myself this is a huge part of why I avoid using the work demon at all as it’s means so many different things to different people it increases the chance of a conversation having misunderstandings.

In Ancient Greek, the word daemon was indeed synonym of spirit.
The Greek translation of the Bible use the word demon, but in Hebrew the words were shedim (god of the foreigners) and se’irim (goat spirits)
Eventually, the word demon started to be associated with “evil spirits.”
The goetic spirits were eventually named demon to oppose the angels.
Today, for occultists, a demon is either used to describe a malevolent spirit or a lesser spirit that serves a goatic spirit.
As @Mulberry says, the word demon is more subjective, or a spectrum, than describing an entity with a particular title of function.

100% correct. Previously banned troll is a troll. Footballer was the banned Baalzack/Jinxer. He is banned yet again and the post removed.
Daemons are basically considered gods in ancient cultures by definition. In some cultures they would have Major Deities & Minor deities, they would have local and personal individual deities too.
There are many types both light, mid & dark. They are tutelage god spirits that teach a variety of things, some will be straightforward easy learning others more chaotic and difficult.
Eventually they became darker more destructive based entities based on demonisation from organised and modern religion.
Depending on your approach i think your experience will be better using a more pagan style communication system with daemons. Rather than the constricted Solomonic approach. As your connecting with them how they originally intended.

Ah, makes sense. Thanks for the swift moderation.
To be quite honest maybe theres wisdom in steering away from christianized terminology like the word demon. There are to many views on what a demon is to the point that it makes it difficult to know what its definition is, especially in practice.
Maybe “evil spirit” or “bad spirit” denoting the parasitic type would be better to use
I disagree with you here my bro…
Daemon means “divine wisdom” or “divine power”, the word demon is just a corruption of the word daemon
Daimon or daemon were terms used to describe spirits in ancient Greece. The meanings were multiple and contextual at times. Many philosophers were under the impression that the Gods themselves don’t actually contact humans but send daimons to do so.
These groupings of spirits had no particular connotation. Some were good and some were bad, but the word itself had no inflection.
It wasn’t until much later in history that the word evolved into demon. From what I understand due to the influence of Christianity. Pagans refused to convert and campaigning was done to attribute evil to the word.
So all demons are daemons or daimons.
