What is Dion Fortune's system of magic?

Hi,

I’m looking through Fortune’s books (all available in public domain) and while they seem to offer great theoretical knowledge on magic and mysticism, I don’t see any concrete practical applications.

She doesn’t seem to offer step-by-step practices or a coherent system of magic to learn and master.

Am I missing something?

Thanks.

Sems to be mostly western occultism rooted in the Golden Dawn’s Solomonic approach.

The Golden Dawn was not Solomonic, it was Kabbalistic and Hermetic.

Dion Fortune was also heavily influenced by Theosophy, which is where the idea of “Ascended Masters” came from.

I’d like to know if her book on qabbalah is practical or theoretical.
