I met a girl who practiced necromancy, but she didn’t tell me about it. I learned about it from someone else, and later she admitted to working in that field. Anyway, she had me do a practice. She told me to hold my left hand, palm down, and my right hand, palm up, and imagine a black door and try to walk through it. I couldn’t go through the door, but I saw it, and in that moment, I felt very calm and strong. The girl said, “I sent you my energy and supported you while you were practicing this.” What was the purpose of this practice?

Sounds like portal.
It would be helpful if she’d told you where it went. Normally you would set your intention to include that but she was doing it for you. Considering it’s related to necromancy I’d guess it was to what she thinks of as the underworld where the dead reside.

Reminds me of meditation i did for past lives. There was also a point when you created the doors in your mind to access this part of yourself. Could be a portal as Mulberry said, or could be also to access your subconcious part. You could also ask her about it tho?

There’s a walk through of doing this in Josephine McCarthy’s book The Exorcists handbook. In that case you are seeing your mind as a mansion house, the door is at the base of your skull and you go in to find and remove parasites.

I know that one but I simply though somebody might tried to create something similar on their own. Like they couldn’t fully remember it ane created their own version of it.

I think so for sure. For me I don’t bother with a framework, like a house, I call it “the dark place” and it’s just nothing. I ask a question or want to see something, talk to someone or go somewhere I can do it from there.
I find stuff shows up on it’s own and means there’s something my subconscious is trying to show me that I need to deal with. Recently I kept finding a large sandy termite hill that gave me a WTF? feeling. Looking into it it was a city and the termite - sometimes ants - were tiny humans.
Eventually I connected it to the city I find Dra’talon (Book of Azazel) ruling over, an actual underground city on Earth by my UPG, which I hadn’t visited for years and he was basically inviting me back. The common elements were sand, humans, underground, functioning and highly conformative/cohesive society - there was no actual termite hill and when I got it, the vision in my dark place disappeared. That’s subbies for you - they give you “well, it’s LIKE this” and you’re left wondering what bits of it are alike and what it’s not.

For me mostly works leaf meditation where you feel like the leaf moving down into the darkness. Honestly the part of “black doors” made me think of subconscious somehow. But you are right could be portal to anywhere including our shadow or subconscious. I usually find there weird visions,and then learn they are pieces of my original memories from before earth time. That just makes me more homesick.

I guess as my first experience using portals was either learning about the Arizona portals and those connected to the Sasquatch, or from Kingdoms of Flame, and after that the portal if D.H. Thorne’s work with the Shadow People… so I get a bias to automatically thinking of portals to some place in the astral or another dimension.
But your mind is you local astral in a way so there’s no reason not to use portals to go inwards as well as outwards - I should expand my thinking there.
I hear that. I may be been created with the Earth as part of the legions that helped it form, so I’m only maybe 4 billion in chronological time, but I’ve found memories that surprised me and made me nostalgic. The one that stands out was a scene where I’m some kind of soldier (male - most of the lifetimes I recall are male) coming home to Sirius, meeting my “beloved” and feeling a kind of love I have never experienced in this lifetime. I had to grieve for the loss of that for a bit after and I still choke up wondering where she is now, what she’s doing and if she’s ok.

You can still reach your beloved tho. IF you remember anything about them and you already have a bond with them it shouldnt be as hard. Guess im lucky to have my family ending up to be my guides, makes it a bit easier.
