Hello friends, in the whisky I served to my ancestors and to my Saint Death (who is also one of my ancestors—the dead one on the altar—but is part of the hive mind that forms Saint Death), dead flies appeared, and another offering was full of fungi, but other altars had nothing. What does it mean?
Probably only that you had flies around - they are attracted to drinks.
Once is just, it happened. Twice is a coincidence, when it gets to 3 times you have a pattern. Before that it’s worth writing down in your Grimoire, but probably not something to worry about.
Well, insects tend to do that
You got the right answers.
I would never worry about flies in alcohol, except if there are a massive amount, haves allways determinated form and so on. In the vastly majourity of cases? Proteins ![]()
Insects are also atracted to candles (to the light). And i will get not surprised if someday i found the drunk of the town sleeping besides my empty offering glass, and of couse, having stolen my flies too.
Edit:
I get mad when a flie that i dont know her existence before, starts moving around me and the candle ruining my concentration.
Dead flies and fungi, in an offering to Saint Death? Hmmm…that is interesting! Like you must be doing, I would definitely take it as a sign and very likely one of acknowledgement and appreciation.
