Good time, dear masters! 
Those of you who see spirits, entities, what do they look like? How do you see them, what do they look like?
I am now developing my astral senses in this direction, and as of late I have been periodically seeing either shadows or clots of dissipating smoke. And sometimes they are some colored balls or transparent cones. I want to understand if these could be entities that I am starting to see?
If you try the search, youāll see that most entities appear as the operator expects. Many of them are not human, some may never have been human ever, and may only have form as balls of energy. They end up using the image projected into the mages mind as an aspect of the communication they are trying to get across, but to be honest people often donāt take care to avoid conscious-mind insertions and see what they want to see.
For entities like ghosts, they still have a human-shaped qi body, and depending on how strong their sense of self is and how much energy they have left as they fade, they can appear more or less human. Animal ghosts also have this to an extent, but they tend to linger less.
To add to this, in my experience they take the form of whatever they deem necessary in getting the message across for me. Example: in deep meditative state when doing some work with Azazel, I asked if he could show himself to me, at that point I had somewhat strong feeling of everlasting smoke surrounding me at the very start of the session, and in fact all around during that period of time ws kind of clouded, and thatās how I saw him, as a figure made of swirling smoke, with fiery eyes. Another time it was another.
they donāt really " have " a look . they show up differently to everyone .
I have never been able to see spirits manifest in the physical like a human in front of me. I have been seeing them in my internal (third) eye
Their looks change from time to time within my astral sight. I once seen King Paimon as a beautiful figure, King Belial sometimes I would see a giant yellow/orange sun glowing, King Bael is the only one I keep seeing on a consistent likening like a black cat, his image does sometimes change too
How they appear to me in the physical is usually through the flames of the candle. Like the candleās flame would start flickering and the flame would break with the base flame and a some completely unconnected flame at the top creating different shapes, and sometimes in black smokes emitting from the flame of the candle - usually at a distinct time through the ritual, often when I request for them to show themselves to me, thatās when the flickering start happening and the restā¦
I also find when I have absolutely no expectations to see anything, thatās when Iām easier to see them manifest both in the physical through the flames and through my astral sight
Absolutely- they do show up according to expectations. A spirit taught me a lesson I think itās worth knowing. Firstly, everyone has every psychic sense, but not everyone has them in equal measure. When working with entities, you want to immerse yourself in your psychic senses from the ātop downā from strongest sense to weakest sense. Now, in my case, my strongest psychic sense is intuition, then Clairaudience, then psychic feeing and then psychic vision. So if I am dealing with a spirit I use my intuition to just get a bead on their general presence. Then I use clairaudience to listen to anything they have to say after asking them, and also use it like echolocation, talking to yourself about what your intuition thinks the spirit is like, then psychic feeling to get an idea of their power, where they are, the impressions of textures on their bodies and their physical appearance, and all the while allow this to fill my imagination creating a mental image.
Now, here is a fun fact- you can have a sense that is excellent in itself, but inferior in the psychic domain, not necessarily because it is weak, but unreliable and untrained. My imagination visually is excellent. I have hyperphantasia. But ironically the strength is also a weakness because I am prone to projection. So I place it last so it can be informed by the more dominant and reliable psychic senses.
This has the effect of pouring into a cup stacked on other cups, stacked on other cups. It overflows into the ones below it and allows for a more total capture of all the information coming at you.
So use your dominant psychic sense to make contact and inform the weaker ones. And also trick your mind by using memory as a visual tool- āif this was really happening, how would I remember it ideally?ā Ask yourself that question and you will almost accidentally visualize intensely. If your vision of an ideal memory is stronger than your current attempt to visualize something, THAT is how you visualize it more intensely.
Iāve told this story here before but itās been a while. In the book Dreamgates by Robert Moss, he talks about how one person had recurring dreams of being chased by a scary monster. They would always be afraid and run from it.
Using the techniques in the book that have you astrally revisit the dream landscape, the person was able to consciously choose to stop, turn around nd face the entity. At which point it turned into a rabbit (symbolic of harmlessness) and apparently was actually a spirit guide that had been trying to help them the entire time.
So your fears as well as expectations are a huge part of what you think you see in the astral, and the entities canāt help that. Thatās why not being afraid and assuming things are enemies is really importantā¦ and hence why the Solomonic attitude that sees all entities in the Goetia as evil Djinn that will kill you if you do it wrong is very unhelpful. Itās a good way to shoot yourself in the foot.
Sometimes assume human, animal, approaching humanoid, or combination forms. Usually they are attractive
Lucifer appeared as a very tall, blindingly handsome man with rose gold hair and clear blue eyes
Lilith was a tall, very beautiful, vampire woman with glowing white skin, bluish eyes, and red hair. She may appear as a harpy or an owl
Dantalion looked extraterrestrial with revolving heads, spoke in a celestial voice
Ghosts can appear as orbs, extending into an increasingly human shape
Ancestral spirits may appear as feathers, flames, significant numbers, or scents
Angels can be feathers, light, and numbers
Demons can be grain and numbers
Many entities and spirits send messages through pictures and numbers. The numbers could have significance according to Gematria
