I have a book about spiritual shapeshifting I’m curious what entity I identify with an an personality level because I relate more to personality that how something looks
It’s not really a spiritual thing, being power hungry.
It’s an ego thing. It’s the fear-based need of the animal to have enough power to protect itself from anything, get all the women and all the resources and have status that nobody would dare challenge.
That’s not a thing. But people die fighting for it.

Yes I am still a dragon but one information about dragons is hard to come by and I want to look forward not to what I was in the past if I find no other option I might choose to spiritual shift as a dragon I might have to fill in some blanks with characteristics because I felt only 3 discernable traits of my dragon past life
Ah I think I get you. You want to change your personality to be more noble and ambitious?
In that case, I’d go the invocation route , and invoke entities that have these qualities. You might want to try a few and see how you feel, as what other people get from entities might not be what you get.
I’d personally go for Baldur, Norse god of male beauty, he’s gracious, invincible (except for one tiny thing - very annoying) and loved by all.

You can blame Loki for that. Though in my opinion, it was done for a reason to show that you cannot escape fate or death for that matter. No matter how much you try to escape it, death will greet you like an old friend.
