No, they did not get mad at me. The lwa were the ones who approached me so they did not mind me petitioning them. Unlike angels and demons, the lwa tend to choose who they work with.

That’s hard to say as i have mostly called them for empowerment, not for material results.

I recommend starting with the banishing ritual and the protection ritual, get a feel for what we have going on and then plowing ahead, but if you already work with the loa, you’ve been performing evocation for decades or some similar, please don’t consider it a requirement that you banish and protect yourself or start with any particular empowerment ritual. In my humble opinion the Loa’s energy is much more… present or obvious and doesn’t take as much to get an effect as other energy types might. As such you may find it best to start with one ritual, run for 7 days then move on to the next then come back later if you wish to level up in that area. I suspect 7 days is the average we will end up with, but if it takes 9 or 13 days or longer before you encounter a moment where you say ah, I can tell this is working, please move on to another ritual or take a break for a few days. Sometimes when we are taking on new energies there seems to be like, a small delay before we notice it, just something to keep in mind. Every ritual begins with the following veve. Simply scan it with your eyes then continue with your chosen ritual(s). I’ve been petitioning both Erzulie Dantor and Ogou Feray without any issues and from what I have gathered, they did not mind me call upon them at all

I believe the initiation is required if you’re interested in a pathworking with the Loas and learn their secrets and the fiercely guarded secrets of Voodoo/Vodoun - I once read somewhere there is an actual difference between the two but if you ask me what they are, I wouldn’t know

Similarly to demons, once made contact with these entities even one time, they become a part of your life for like ever

I have been thinking about Papa legba and Met Kalfou for some days now and I don’t know if they are calling me or I’m the one calling them.
I once light a white candle when my electric bulb was off so I just gaze right in the candle flame while saying Papa legba name in my mind and even asked him to do something with the candle flame to confirm that he is listening to me and few seconds later the candle flame spark in such a way that I can’t even describe here. It wasn’t really a ritual but I was just trying to see if they really hear whatever I’m saying within.
What do you think about this?
