I want to try working with the Venus pentacles, especially the 4th and 1st (the ruling one) to manipulate a specific target. I am thinking to use Baal Kadmon’s book for this purpose. Does anyone have experience with the pentacles and which methods of working with them are best?

I used Baal kadmons method to make the fifth pentacle of mars. The one that makes demons respect you.
One thing he didn’t mention that he could have is if you’re using paper for the talisman it’s best to create and use a new one every two months or so. Or so I was told.

I know it is best to make them on the coresponding metal,but I am not able to work with metals and engrave. I will try to print and than trace with the coresponding colour marker the sigils. Do you have success with this pentacle you made? I know that when used right the pentacles hide great power and are one of the strongest magick tools.

Here’s my rendition of the fifth pentacle of mars. It’s supposed to be a scorpion but it was really hard to draw freehand. If you look closely around the outer edges you can see the Hebrew versicles inscribed around it .

Is drawing by hand the best option, or is printing and then tracing it also working?

I had to draw mine by hand because due to the pandemic at the time I made this I didn’t have access to a printer. Otherwise I’d have done a trace over if I could have.

Yeah man Solomonic pentacles are very powerful magick. Really simple too once you get the hang of it.

I read about all the pentacles in the free pdf version in Baal’s site and I am really impressed.I will buy the full version to consecrate and charge them,also the combinations (I read that you have to print the 1st ruling pentacle of Venus on the opposite side of the 4th,5th or any other you use). I practise demonic evocations with DOM,LHD and Corwin’s methods,but for now I can not solve my problem and want to try solomonic pentacles,combined with spell jars and other stuff.

You know what you might give some thought too. Candle magick that uses the psalms. The book is called candle magic by Anna rivvi. I used that method and Solomonic pentacles in tandem to stunning effect.
I believe this is the book.

Thank you for the advice! I will check this book also. I am working on a problem that can be solved only by magick and I will try the strongest possible options.

Does it matter what time or hour you draw/craft them?

@MagickalStudent569 I downloaded a planetary days and hours free app for my phone,so I made mine in the day and hour of mars because I wanted to add extra oomph to it.
I have one too which is why I asked. Some people claim it makes no difference but I have found this not to be the case.

@MagickalStudent569 I look at it like this. Not using the days and hours when and where appropriate is like leaving power unused.
I’m not so strong as a practioner that I feel I can just leave extra juice on the table unused.
I don’t use the days and hours for every bit of magick I work but with anything like Solomonic pentacles I definitely would recommend it.

Working with Solomonic pentacles are quite intensive. They must be engraved on metal during the planetary hour during the waxing moon. For venus. Must be on copper done in the hour and day of venus. In addition to the pentacle, you must engrave the emerssay pentacle on the reverse side. Once this is finished, you preform a consecration ritual. It takes 7 days to complete. After which you have a powerful talisman. Paper pentacles do not work.

Which book/source is best to learn about the pentacle consecration and activation and all the rules about using them.I am planning to buy Baal Kadmon’s book.I have to look some engraving tutorials,because I never worked with metals

Saying that paper pentacles don’t work is patently false and flies in the face of practically every respected authors work on the subject. Migene Gonzalez whippler, Baal kadmon, Anna rivvis, ect.
Look it’s fantastic you too a GOM course on pentacle making but that doesn’t mean you are now THE authority on Solomonic art my friend.
Others methods still have validity.
I’d rather have a paper pentacle of Venus that actually works than never get all the materials together to make one made of copper.
Yes I concede that it will be much stronger doing it how you illustrated but other versions still are quite effective. That’s all I’m saying.

It is a lot of work to engrave it on metal, I will try it in the future when I collect enough info on the topic. I was thinking to use the 4th pentacle on obsession jar,but I will stick with the demon sigils for now : )

I almost wish there was place to who custom made them for you but then again maybe it’s meant to be done on your own.
