Time and baneful magick

Say if I were to go back in time and attack someone’s past self, would it affect this world’s version of them?

My initial thought is, yes. But, time isn’t entirely linear.

@Eye_of_Ra?

interesting

How so?

You could almost change a situation, Like having to use Baneful work- lets say you go back in time and change a man’s way of feeling. Healing him from wounds he will never admit to stopping him from molesting his nieces, This further changes the course of their lives - allowing the girls to live to their full potential. This allows him to have a safe relationship with them and they will never curse him.

Now you harken unto me. If you ever do go back in time and attack someone, do me a really big favour and make sure you attack Abraham. Not just attack but kill that sick, my wife is my half-sister fucker. Do it for me and the world. No Judaism, Xtianty or Islam.

I love Uncle Al The one Uncle we all wish we had growing up

Not all change is in everyone’s interest.

Could time travel and such just affect other dimensions, if one isn’t precise? Like, if you wanna go back in time to punch Bob, you’d actually be punching his other dimensional self?

That is a fair question. My way of looking at it is that the past self led to the current self, or this world’s Raven. Perhaps a cursed past self would result in a damaged this worlds self.

There many theories on time travel. If memory serves me right I had commented on the theory that if someone went back in time they might possibly make changes in as much as creating a different timeline and when this person returned to their own time everything would be as they left, that’s if they are able to return or they don’t get lost in time all together (see many theories). If it was ever done I find that person/s and ask them their experiences.

Idk… but I feel a big black dragon around me with a huge golden eye… it’s almost like he is wrapping himself around me… in a protective mode …

Is something going on…

Quite frankly, I should charge money for the erudite, cut-to-the-chase, do it on the cheap, always practical and been there and done that myself material that I post. I should become the only ‘black humour’, lhp Stand-Up Philosopher in the world. I’d use unique material garnered from the furthest reaches of pornography – Donut porn, Chocolate Doughnut porn, Birth porn and Autism Orgy No.3.

‘People reckon there’s safety in numbers. Well I say, tell that to six million Jews!’

I should found the first ground-breaking, lhp school of stand-up philosophy. Every audience member gets a complimentary vomit bag, because I can get a bit rough with my intellectual asides. For my own safety and as an individualistic leitmotif of my message I’ll work on stage from inside a metal cage.

Yes.

Time is a circle,(according to some high level mathematics in quantum mechanics) so the past, present and future are all happening simultaneously. You should easily be able to curse someone’s “past self.”

Unless you can gain accurate information on the personal past life you could very well be dealing with a past life aspect where they were more active in their practice and thus possibly more competent with magick then they are today. Then there is also the ancestral spirits to consider that could possibly be roused to action to defend their kin.

Not a past life but old you. Otherwise I understand

Time travel is one of those things that does your head in. What if you messed with someone in the past and the ripple caused your parents to never meet? Which in itself brings up the question of if you weren’t alive to mess with the timeline at that point would it revert back to the original with you in it?
