I read the satanic bible and while LaVey is often associated with atheism and psychodramas he do states in TSB that the psychodrama releases a force that can affect people so they get blessed, cursed or hexed. Is there some truth about it? Do the infernal names working as archetypes that raises emotions hidden in the subconsciousness and are released that give the Satanist magical power?
I’m not very familiar with details of Laveyan Satanism, but this sounds like a Jungian concept in symbolic language and pretty similar to my own views concerning angels, demons and gods as aspects or archetypes within our consciousness as well as external beings.
In my opinion a lot of the theories and concepts Carl Jung stated are a very valuable bridge between occultism and science/ psychology for the magician. So yeah, I think mr Anton wasn’t yanking our chain with this one
This is the same thing as when I say, it doesn’t matter what you do, it’s the WAY that you do it.
Energy follows mind, and intention is everything.
Or to put it yet another way, you do what it takes to get your being to control the energy so that it changes in your desired direction.
If you think it does, it does, because that’s what you needed to give yourself permission to energetically reach out change the energies around you.
It’s all the same underneath, so whatever language works for you is fine.
What is inside is outside, the archetypess and spirits are beings part of you and at the same time they’re outside of you.
