That Moment When 5: It's dead Jim

Dude, was it so tropical last night over there, too? I had all windows wide open but when I woke up this morning it felt like exactly NOTHING happened :joy:

Oh it was… it was HORRIBLE
40,7 degrees and i’m not kidding.
i lost sweat for 4 close combat trainings only last night.
all windows open, 2 or 3 towels to dry my sweat… i woke up in what felt like a sauna.
no air…

Omfg. Bless you. I hope you have fresh water at hand and light clothes.
Heat is the worst.

Yeah, yesterday a lot of cities here were like “We broke the nation heat record!” only to announce one hour or so later “Nevermind” because some other random place was even hotter
Slept for three hours or so. That shit freaks me out atm

Hotter than average summer for y’all?

Mine has been milder than normal. Hoping that means we get a decent winter this year.

100+ farenheit with 80% humidity and a pollen count so high that it leaves green film all over everyone’s cars is the norm here.

We’ve only broken 100 degrees a few days so far and I can actually BREATH outside this year.

Sounds like y’all got what we lost this summer.

I empathize.

The rains will only flood the areas over here. The ground is too dried out to actually keep the water. Oh, well…better plant some more lavender bushes to fend off the mosquitoes

Y’all don’t use air-conditioning like we do in USA right?

yeah well my sage is blssoming alot and my Mugwort too…

We do but i think it is more common in houses in the USA than here

No, AC is not common over here, at least not in normal appartments. Offices and public transportations offer it partly, but also not everywhere

That’s what I thought.

Houses without central heat and air do NOT exist here.
