Tarot in a place where they are frowned upon, and playing cards as minor

Hello,

So in the nursing home and the number of well meaning Christians around … to use tarot without an actual deck…

I used “The Mystical Qabalah”, and pen and paper to create a major arcana deck to use for “Modern Magick” work such as the daily tarot card and the Tarot Contemplation Ritual.

Today my brother picked up a playing card deck to fight against boredom. It dawned on me that that could be used as a modern minor arcana. Or divination through numerology.

Thoughts?

You can use regular playing card decks as well, that’s a known and accepted form of divination.

Look up “cartomancy”.
