Summoning an Egregore with limited resources and knowledge

Hello!

I’m relatively new to evocation/invocation, and despite browsing this forum with search function, exploring the internet and asking questions on Reddit, I found that evocation will be working the best for my goal.

Sorry if my English isn’t that good (if you’re interested, I speak Russian).

My goal is to form a bond with a fictional character that I’m obsessing over. First I tried soulbonding, but I haven’t got much from the practice, as the fictional character I tried to invite into my headspace refused to communicate. I respect his decision. I also got a walk-in spirit of a different character from the same game (League of Legends), who asked me if “the invitation was still up” from his words. I didn’t exactly want to speak with this specific character as he’s very manipulative, possessive and abusive to everyone around him (he was a king). I tried soulbonding with another character this time: Xin Zhao. I love him so much, but soulbonding feels like tulpamancy with a different topping.

My research, thanks to this forum, showed that the type of entity I want to talk to and build a friendship is called ‘Egregore’. That made me interested in the book “Pop Culture Magick”, but sadly it’s not available in Russia and Amazon doesn’t accept Russian cards. Everyone is praising the book but I can’t have access to this material.

Perhaps anyone could give me a tutorial or guide on how to contact and establish a relationship with an Egregore or a Fictional Character like in the book ‘Pop Culture Magick’ or to manifest him physically, or in my mind like a constant presence? Similar to tulpas but real. I’m sorry I couldn’t find any guides on this topic even though I used the search function. Thank you for your time!

Welcome to the BALG forum.

Do you have any experience in magick at all? Evocation is an advanced skill.

Thank you for the welcome! c:

Yes, a little. I have tried doing sigil magick, which worked in the best possible way, even better than I expected. This one time was tied to winning a specific thing, and even more.

I did candle magic and subliminal magic too, but I suppose these are pretty beginner-friendly.

As for evocation, I don’t know if it counts, but I have tried evoking Andrealphus (as you know him Goetia Demon). It was three years ago, when I wrote a petition for him, drew his sigil, lit candles and incense, brought ‘gifts’ (alcohol and chocolate). Later that night I had a lucid dream where Andrealphus appeared to me and lifted me into the sky and chanted something with his assistants by his side. That one time I requested him to teach me astral projection and reality shifting.

I’m so sorry if this is a common question, but I can’t seem to find anything beyond tulpas and soulbonding (the latter doesn’t work for me for some reason?) on the internet. I am ready to learn however, and if I need to prepare to summon my lovely Xin Zhao I am 100% on board. Thank you for your reply!

The conjuring of non-existent fictional characters is part of chaos magick, so you might be interested in the fundamentals of that paradigm. If a copy of Taylor Ellwood’s Pop Culture Magick isn’t available where you live, you can probably find Alan Chapman’s Advanced Magick for Beginners for free in the wilds of the internet. While Chapman’s book isn’t devoted strictly to using fictional entities, it does cover using belief as a tool, which is the core tenet of chaos magick.

Thank you very much! I will look for it

I wouldn’t take this personally. It may not be developed enough to be verbal on it’s own. It is probably not even sovereign at all, more like a bot. Give it time and you can help it learn, and if you give it enough energy it can develop independence and a mind of it’s own.

Also look up how to make servitors, which are the same thing as egregores only made by just one person. The techniques to build those can help you work with this egregores as well.
