Hello. I am never disappointed with this author and the more I read this book the more I am satisfied by his honestly and forth-telling of things, despite being a bit too wordy at times.
I want to suggest to anyone here who have the book to start a study group and eventual evocation project.
How it would work I figure is that we would read a chapter and discuss it and then after a month of discussions (provided they are consistent discussions) we evoke an entity.
I think this book ties in much with the work discussed here and think it’s that important. Any thoughts out there?
I think that’s a wonderful idea. I want you to do it. This is the perfect place, and E.A. will be around as much as he can to help.
Who here will commit to participate in this through to the end? It’s a surefire way to stay motivated and actually evoke the entities under expert guidance.
Say “ME” or reply however you like to let us know you’re up for it. Then we can finalize the start date and calendar goals, and do this bitch!

Timothy, you are absolutely right…it is a surefire way to stay motivated. I can read & read & read, but doing the work is what is needed now and to actually evoke the entities under expert guidance would be grand. 
One might consider using other chapters from a couple of other books of E.A’s like charging Sigils, etc. to incorparate the method so a new magician can get full experience as to what is going on. Just a thought as I have seen some posts here that some are not familiar with some of the basics. All and all, this is a very good project for anyone.

Yeah, and I bet I’m one of those! I came across sigils in my self-teaching - stared at’m, played around with’um, worked with’um - and have had what I deem successes (in that I succeeded in doing what I set out to) … but “educated” no, not I. Z
Yeah I’m down for doing it. I was told in a dream that when I get to evoking anyone from boa, I should start with one of the demons from the house of Anatel.

Well, well…wow. I am happy at all these responses. And yes Timothy, I also agree it’s a sure fire way to do this work especially since EA has created this forum, I have faith that any such endeavor would be more focused.
Let me also add that I have officially finished reading this book and once again, it’s truly awesome. For now all I want to say is that it was a worthy purchase.
Now as for the project itself: may I suggest that everyone involved has to have these requirements:
- They must have an actual copy of The Book of Azazel.
- They have read enough of the book to be familiar with the subject matter.
- If we’re really going to do this, we must put all other personal paths or obligations with other orders on hold; but let me to explain why:
This book is a big deal because of what it promises. But it may be dangerous or mind shattering. I see a lot of ego shattering may be involved and a lot of testy and scary situations. Even at the moment I am asking myself if I am truly ready to face this. We need to be strong and even ready to get back up after getting possibly knocked down and thrown.
Having our hands in other things, taking away our focus may jeopardize our integrity and setting ourselves up for sabotage. I am not trying to sound scary or negative but there’s no reward without risk and there seems to be a hefty reward for these trials.
As for people seriously involved in other things, not to sound smug but let’s face it, we wouldn’t be at a place called becomealivinggod if we didn’t want to receive such a boon. And for this I feel that all things must be cleared away, before undertaking this pilgrimage.
It’s like the author went out on a limb on this one and there for those who do the work have to be all in it to win it.
As for our approach-
I would like us to go through the chapters first or those chapters relevant to what we want to accomplish provided we could all agree upon a mutual goal.
At this point, I am open to suggestions. I don’t want to spearhead anything. Oh and I suppose we could start within a few weeks time just to make sure everybody has the book, and do some brush reading.

I think it would be best if each one of us made a black pact with one of the four gatekeepers.
The one thing I would be hesitant about doing right now is getting into the same sort of pact with Azazel or the other gatekeepers like EA had, this is for two reasons. One is I’m already in a pact with two other entities. The other is prior to that, I was told in no uncertain terms by forces I trust that it would be a bad idea for me at least to enter into a pact in which someone else sets the terms, I know this works for some people like EA but it would seem that that is not for me at least not at this moment. When I did so with these guys I was lucky enough to be in a rather unique situation where I could set the terms of our pact, rather then in EA’s case where Azazel dicated them.
Aside from that I’m pretty much down for anything, I’m interested in working with the demons from the mini grimoire, and I’d also like to try out some of the other stuff in the book. Does anyone live in the chicago area? I know some of the stuff in the book requires multiple people to do, so I was wondering about that.
I’m more interested in a pact with abbadon than azazel and as long as I get the power I seek I would gladly let the demon make the terms.
True enough, there’s no single road to power, it’s more like a forest, a path one person may take might be right for them while not for another. Don’t let what was told to me sway your decision as what might be right for me might not be for you.
How about this. Instead of making a pact where we are giving total control, we approach Azazel with a declaration of dedicating ourselves fully or to the best of our ability individual or otherwise to understand what is presented and to thoroughly work through the book?
And under that what we are as the group is willing to do and not do. In otherwise, why not set the terms as we all have to come to that at some point before setting off. Plus I am sure that such an ancient spirit with such power could be understanding of our apprehension be it professional and courteous as we are officially willing to work with his book.

I decided to make sure just in case , so I scryed and asked the spirits associated with me if it is a good idea for me to be involved in the book study, the imagery I got back from all of them were of blooming flowers which is favorable, so I’m in for sure.
i got the BoA, Evoking Eternity, Ipsissimus and Questing after visions. The funny thing is i haven’t seriously had an oportunity to study those books because of my hectic schedule that i had last few months. i acquired E.A.'s books but, thought to myself that i better get the basics down first from other authors before i do this serious stuff. now i am almost completely free since school year is over.
as i have never done evocation before, nor have i witnessed to any spiritual/paranormal phenomena, i sure do have an enormous amount of work to do, as DKM said somewhere on the forum.
can somebody suggest a smart course of learning for me to try to catch up with you guys and get involved in to BoA study group?
