Basically i’m on a daily practice of Robert Bruce’s 90 days astral projection book. I did day 32, which is about practice of trance states, here using the rope technique. The session went pretty normal, as was yesterday except for one minor detail.
At some point I intuitively heard or felt the word appearing into my mind without context whatsoever, this word heard being “Chokma”. Which in its right spelling equals to Chokmah I believe.
I saw after reading about that word online that this is related to the tree of life of the Kabbalistic tree, which I kind of vaguely remember conceptually, but what does it even mean at all to hear about it in this instance? I was in a light trance state during the end of the 1 hour session of mostly relaxation and energy work with all energy centers (or chakras, from root to crown).
Keep in mind I didn’t read whatsoever about the tree of life or even Qliphoth today and it’s not even really on my list of practice, i’m focusing mostly on astral projection. I didn’t try to get anything specific answered, it just came to me like that out of the blue.
Any idea what it could mean, why, etc? Thank you very much in advance.
It means wisdom, or Sophia as the Gnostics called it. I think this is what we are striving for with any practice for ascension. Maybe you overheard your subconscious musing about what you are doing.
It kind of doesn’t. The subconscious is the “right brain”, has no language and speaks in symbolism, so the word is your conscious mind’s interpretation of a subconscious impulse - like an interface. I would look for any other sense information you could have got, like emotion or smell, any images etc., that could help the interpretation.
I see, it makes sense. I didn’t even feel much specific emotions or else aside from surprise when I heard that word. No smell or images either, at least as far as I remember other than that word placed out of context, that’s why it kind of confused me and made me ask around here for ideas.
Well now that I think about it there was a part where I briefly saw white light but I think it’s either again one of the instances of the strobe effect Robert Bruce basically says is a common visual side-effect of (possible?) clairvoyance during energy work (I had it once before), but possibly on that part it was just projecting and visualization more than real sight, I don’t know.
Other than that there’s really nothing else I can see of connected with the appearance of that word.
But I agree though with as little context as the hearing of that word it’s really not easy to make much of it. Oh well. I guess it’s a fun oddity and i’ll just have to make with it until something else pops up.
That’s super symbolic. The alchemical marriage levels of symbolic - he was wedded to the knowledge of the universe that allows you to manifest spirit into the physical.
