5 base cats sounds good, but the more i think about the more i want to create. its not that easy to keep me from overloading myself.
i thought of replacing the blindone/demiurge with the:
“borign, very boring dog of fear, order and chains”
~he has a army of broccoli and skelettons, and he himself can not live without coffee.
His goal is it to turn the entire world into a giant comple of coffee factories and endless offices.

i need various themed realms:

-tim burton, gothic, witchy realm
-realm with markets, schools, magical academies, libaries, castles, temples

group of various small islands…WITH PIRATE KITTENS!!!

shadow, mirror realm to reflect upon all the other realms
-underworld
-heavens

-valhalla-style heavens
QUESTION: should i keep the cats humanoid or “feral” ?
~Idea: the higher the class, the more likely they are to shapeshift or walk around in humanoid shapes

Humanoid for the non combat(if the are any) Leads to more related ability and would probably help with the companionship aspect. Feral for the combat oriented however sounds like the better way to go. I am pretty sure feral cats at a pound for pound level are much better fighters than humans.

Again depends imo. I am not as knowledgeable on such a thing as @Mulberry however I think that a planet would take more energy to sustain so I think it depends on how powerful/vast you want your servitor army of kittens to be.
