That is the word I saw in my mind’s eye after doing one of the initiation rituals: “Demigod” , tho I intuitively sensed that it was more of an acknowledgement of my level of enlightenment/attainment/power by the spirits I called upon.
Like in the Taoist system there are levels of immortals/enlightenment: Ghost immortals, Human immortals, Earthly immortals, Spirit immortals, and Heaven immortals.
You Do become your own god tho, just not THE GOD.
When most people think of Demigods, they think of half gods or partial gods.
So you are both a full fledged God yourself, and also a Demigod(partial aspect/ part of the Creator God.)
Sometimes you can share in THE GOD’S consciousness tho, basically exchanging your own individuality for the GOD consciousness.
That’s the best way that I can think of/know how to explain it at this point.
This probably won’t all happen thru going thru the initiations only 1 time tho.
A lot depends on your prior development before you use his system, but you’ll definitely get an upgrade in some way each time yu go thru it, and it will work w/ you on what you are ready to handle or accept on your path while still getting you to expand your boundaries as well as making you an all around more complete balanced individual.
Also to add: You may not get the full blessings of a prior sphere until you work w/ the power of a later sphere.
As an example in my case I had major father issues because of my upbringing and when I first went thru the sphere of Jupiter( the benevolent father) I didn’t feel much of the father’s love at all/ nor any messages nor a connection as Rufus talked about.
That was until I initiated thru the sphere of Mercury( the sphere of communication)
Then I was finally able to start recieving the messages that Jupiter wanted to say to me as the father figure.
It was like the power of Mercury fixed the broken communication lines that I had w/ the sphere of Jupiter and in other ways in my life.
It was wild to witness it happening, and I instincitively knew those messages were for me when they popped up in my life.
Does this mean it does not have to be “upheaval”. For instance, if I slowed down the progression through the planets would that be a more “gentle” experience. I got a lot of things going on at work, I can’t have “upheaval”. I can deal with some shit, but I can’t break down or otherwise fall apart.
I will also look into Fater Chassan’s book.
RO has a board where he gives a Goetic class, and I think he said it was easier/better or something if you did the planetary stuff before going into the Goetia.
(also, because I know there are experts here, it sounds to me like I should start with an entity called Pesoon or Person, sort of an all-around go getter who has friends everywhere and knows nearly everything and is also nice. sounds like a great gateway to the Goetia for me.)
In the book, Rupus Opus states that if instead of following the two week schedule as described, you extend the workings over a long span, there would be less upheaval.
