Rites of Lucifer question

I grabbed this book because I want to connect with Lucifer and it seems to be a popular suggestion in many circles.

The book is written by the Temple of the Ascending Flame which their doctrine is following the draconian path/current. Before grabbing this book, I had never heard of the draconian path or terms like qlippoth before, but it sounds intense to say the least(especailly reading other people’s accounts on doing the qlippoth work).

Now I know that the Rites of Lucifer book is not exactly an initiation into the draconian path, but their rituals clearly use the draconian current energy with their lucifer masks workings-they even say that when you trace Lucifer’s trident with your dagger, you are inviting the draconian current into your temple and you better be prepared to deal with the good or the bad that comes with it.

I guess what I’m trying to say here is, I’m just simply looking for ways/rituals to connect with Lucifer, and not so much have tower moments that kick my ass. I see a lot of people did the rituals in this book, and I wanted to see what effects it had on your practice.

If this draconian current is just a vehicle to connect with Lucifer more easily, than cool, but I am not wanting get tower’ed moment because a side affect of these rituals is this draconian current. Granted, I’ve only known about this draconian path for less than a few hours(first time I ever heard of it) so I can’t actually speak on what it is but the stuff I’ve read on here and the occult sub sound off-putting, especially the people who’ve done work with the qlippoth(those stories sound nothing short of horrific).

Also for bonus points, can someone tell me what the draconian path actually is? It sounds like one of those paths of “you better be mentally prepared because this will kick your ass and its going to get a whole lot worse before it gets any better” kind of things. But then again, I don’t actually know what it is.

I don’t know much about the Draconian path since I don’t believe Lucifer and the other Daemons are Draconians, and I think that connection started because of Christianity that associates “Satan” and chaotic energies to the Dragon creature, hence why Saint George is killing one.

In my experience the best way to connect with Lucifer is through the Pathworking of Lucifer and The Hidden Demons because it’s a more complex and complete side of Lucifer, if you want you can even access other sides of him, so for example you can use the Pathworking of Lucifer to contact Exu Lucifér. I also recommend the book of Lucifer from the author David Thompson, if you want to look more about the other “Lucifers”.

That’s the name Asenath Mason (the Author) gives to her style, aka “current” for working with Lucifer. It leans on the idea of the entities being serpentine or draconian, a la, the serpent in the garden of Eden.

I have this book though and it doesn’t go on and on talking about dragons or anything. She has a website called The Temple of Ascending Flame with more if you like the way she does things.
