So I saw this domination spells where by you write the persons name under your foot in red sharpie and stomp 5 times and then to about your day. It was on YouTube and literally all the comments were speaking on how it works so I’m considering giving it ago, what can I lose lol. Has anyone tried this particular spell with success?

I wouldn’t try this myself, I don’t see why it wouldn’t work because all you’re doing is finding a way to get your mind to send the energy.
I can just think of less visually silly ways to do that, and I’m terribly concerned about my Edgy McEdgelady status from drawing on myself and stamping my foot like a toddler. I crave my Darque™ mystery and spooky ambiance.

Putting sigils, objects, or names under your foot or shoe is common in many folk practices.
I haven’t tried this some specifically but I’ve done others similar. Just because it sounds “silly” doesn’t mean it doesn’t work.
Part of it is symbolism. The foot is seen as dirty in many cultures, so stomping is not only domination, but humiliation.

I’ve done something similar where I use the steps of my feet while walking to ground intent and energy. It works but so do most things if you’re good at directing your intent.
I’m Turkish and in my culture if you write your name under the sole of a bride, and it becomes unreadable by the end of the wedding night, it means you will merry soon. So it doesn’t always have to be baneful.
