Hermetics is a philosophy not a style of magick. To use it’s principles for an attraction spell you would go with “like attracts like” - a Hermetic principle. So you would assume love is on it’s way, act as if it’s coming around the corner and it is. This is used in things like New Avatar Power and the Secret.
Conversely make sure your attitudes are nor repelling the energy you want to bring in
In this example the person uses a Honey jar in conjunction with Solomon’s seals, you could also use a vigil candle and write a psalm on it.
What makes it RHP or not is your attitude of non-harm and self-sacrifice. The tools themselves are neutral. Since you are doing an attraction spell, this inherently is LHP, because doing magick for your benefit instead of leaving it to the universe/god/source’s will is considered “sinister”.
Yes it’s a model for how the world works and all spells or rituals can be explained to work in terms of Hermeticism.
So I’d recommend browsing severl spells or rituals, and examining them from the perspective of your principles. Many you can edit to align with your values.
For example to meet the principle “do no harm” for an attraction spell, add the wording “if it be her will” to the call. Adding that loophole makes it so you will not be coercing anyone against their will and then you know whoever comes did so because they wanted to answer of their own volition. Same spell but updated intent.
