I always wonder about return to sender spells, if I understand correctly, when someone hexes you using direct energy, reflexion spells (such as mirror boxes and candles) send this energy back to the sender.
But what if one uses demonic magick to hex another, so it’s the spirit that performs the action, do these traditional return to sender work?
Yes, you can send the entity back to do the same thing to it’s sender that it was sent to you to do.
In tis case, instead of a mirror shield I would evoke the entity and instruct it to do whatever it was told to do to me to the sender instead. Maybe double.
In tis case, it’s a matter of will against will. Your will to instruct the entity must be stronger than the will of the sender.

Otherwise, generic return to sender spells wouldn’t work?
