Yes, all moderators on all forums act to prevent members from breaking the rules: we have a clearly-defined and long-established rule that moralising on working threads is not permitted, therefore it is my job (albeit as a volunteer mod) to enforce this.

You may not have been aware of this rule, though the existence of a forum Category specifically FOR talking about curses and baneful magick should have been suggestive, but you are now, so please refrain from further moral argument. :+1:

I am not engaging in any moral argument, I am asking if your job here is to stop white magicians from telling others not to curse, just want to make that clear. If I have understood it right, I can not express my opinion on someone placing a death curse? Preventing people from doing that would be irresponsible and not in accordance with the opening statement in the post " Welcome to Become A Living God" which clearly says This is a Civilized Place for Open Discussion of Magick.

I also want to remind you that the creator of this post asked for guidance, I see nothing wrong in giving it if it is asked for.

Yes it is, this is the forum admin’s post defining the values here, which are explained in more depth in my reply above that quotes the BALG forum rules regarding moral arguments/preaching dogma:

Guidance is not moral argument to stop because of “karma,” and your posts clearly missed the mark in providing anything helpful.

My posts did not provide anything helpful? Please point to the posts that you think did not provide anything helpful. If I see someone thinking of killing a person using magick with out understanding the fundamental principles of magickal practice I will tell them it is a bad idea. Am I not allowed to do that in this forum? In that case this sentence is my last contribution here.

I fail to see what point I have broken, please be more clear.

Let’s see:

Moral.

Personal moral values.

Judgemental.

Patronising and judgemental.

Insulting, demeaning.

Preaching your own interpretation of theory to support imposition of your morals on OP.

Preaching karma, which is a belief system.

… this is just 8 out of the 24 posts you made here, all plainly violating the rules, you did not state your case then let it drop, you seem hellbent on dogging this topic until you create compliance with your values by wearing everyone down.

THIS kind of harassment is why preaching dogma and moralising on working threads IS FORBIDDEN.

And my role here is to prevent this kind of tactic gaining ground.

You may not bring your internal value set and shut down another person’s right to perform magick based on that, period.

No, you are not.

If you wish me to close your account I will do so, I will also shortly tidy this thread up to be more on-topic without derailments.

irrelevant.

A rule of thumb to follow on such things would be to more carefully read the original post, if that person has asked advice on performing magick for a specific goal, be it killing, sex, manipulation of others thoughts and emotions etc. Then no, that would be moralising and quite possibly thread derailment, both against forum rules no matter what good intentions might be behind them.

However, if in the OP it says something along the lines of "what are your thoughts, opinions on"
Then your perfectly free to give your opinions on it as long as their not overly abusive to that person.

Every thing is a belief system my dear and there are no truths.

I looked for the first so called quote you wrote and couldn’t find the place where I wrote make him a good person. Even if I would have written that the lady asked for guidance and I chose to give it to her. She is engaged in serious black magick with no understanding of what she is getting into not mentioning the crime she contemplates committing. With moderators like you I have nothing here to do, please close my account, this is no place for me. And for those that found my advice of any help, what I told you is basically everything you need to know. That’s it, now all that awaits is the effort on your part.

Yes and you may not use your belief system to silence or shout down someone else’s right to do the magick THEY choose to do, period.

Your post saying precisely this is above, it’s the 2nd post down in this new topic I created to split all the moral argument out of the main topic:

Black magick is currently not against any laws.

Bye then.
