Reiki and demons

I’ve read that demons ‘feed’ of the energy of our offerings.

I was recently attuned into reiki and I got the idea of doing a reiki session into a demon’s sigil as a form of offering relating to my petition.

Thoughts?

Why not? If you can ask the entity first that’s usually a good idea. It might be able to tell you what specific reiki symbol it would like.

Any being can feed off the energy of offerings, sometimes it’s more of a “it’s the thought that counts” rather than energy.

However, reiki is for healing, unless the demon needs healing doing reiki into it would not amount to anything. So best to ask.

Yes, it works fantastic. I really pissed off “light workers” years ago by talking about this. You can use reiki to do things they say isn’t possible.

Reiki also makes someone more of what they are. Any entity would likely welcome that. The healing portion is true, however it’s highlighted by Western new-age practices. Completely agree with you on the energy and thoughts part.

Reiki is healing anything outside of that I wouldn’t call reiki. In its origins reiki is a Chinese/Japanese healing art. The new age aspect is people using reiki for more than healing or calling it things like rainbow reiki, Angel reiki, or like one member tried to create “darkness/demonic reiki”

It’s basically only healing though because of the passing of energy.

The way it was explained to me was that it doesn’t heal directly, it just brings things into balance. So bringing an unhealthy physical condition into balance would be healing, but I can’t help but imagine that there are other applications for it…

It channels healing energy through you. You’re just a conduit. Western individuals made it more than it is but at the basis of it, it’s a healing art through hands, or various other tools.

There are, it’s just that those that teach and write about reiki are very RHP and so are those communities.

I’m far from a master being that I just started with reiki last weekend. But yea that was the basis of the training, getting the ego out of the way and being a conduit. I get that aspect for sure. It’s interesting to see the variety of opinions.

One thing I did try so far was to do reiki into a crystal grid that I have set up in my house for wealth. Result was that overnight I had more sales on my small online business than I have had in quite some time. Coincidence maybe, but it got me thinking about what else I could channel energy into.

I was taught reiki growing up and became able to do it on others but I’ve long since left it alone, not sure why other than lack of interest after a while

because it’s not reliable. too many versions of fast food chain reiki that isn’t reiki. one weekend and you can heal remotely anyone in the world. And many training omit the self cultivation practices of meditation. It’s like rpg games. Level up and your all powerful with a new skills that don’t require training effort. haha. It’s gone mad with the reiki thing. More of a scam as there’s no proof or documented long history like other traditional well known methods.

I’m sure there’s validity to reiki, but not the western teaching of it. it’s overblown more than what it is with tons of added stuff with exaggeration. too many made up claims and i can’t believe millions believe it at teachers’ word. And yes, i’ve done my research on it all the way back to the origin. Somewhere along the family tree of reiki it branch off to fast food way diluting it’s core purpose/method of training. Short cut way cuz the ones that taught it fast food couldnt’ hack the training so they make up idea that reiki is automatic intelligence where one don’t even have to think/intention of mind just by laying hands. And everyone is a master in 2 days with trainer passing energy to person. LOL. common sense tells you , nothing can be mastered in 2 days.

This just my view with experience of energy all my life and research into the system. too many shortcut from origin that it’s not even reiki to me . but so many believe it so it became the norm.

As pertain to the thread, energy is different. so it might not be compatible. working with reiki is already working with entity according to training. So it’s not just energy your talking about. You would be forcing an entity energy on the demon sigil. i don’t know if they like that. haha.

Yeah it took about 3 months for me. 2 days would’ve been insane I got sick from the attunements.

I honestly am surprised to hear some of the strongly held negative perceptions about newer reiki teachings. I guess some people just have a fetish for anything old and traditional, and can’t see value in anything new or western. Seems particularly silly when the lineage of reiki only goes back roughly 100 years, barely a blip when contemplating timeless universal energy.

When you can physically feel strong surges of energy during the attunement, believing your teacher at their word isn’t an issue. I go with what works and gives me perceptible results.

There are places where you can pay $10,000 for the exact same training, just because the instructor has a more direct lineage to Dr Usui. I really don’t think the practical affordable instructors are the scammers.

I find it’s more when it diverts from its original meaning, it stops being reiki, new things aren’t bad or negative but when people take reiki and create some “demonic reiki” or “angel reiki” or “rainbow reiki” it starts not making much sense.

New doesn’t have to completely remove the premise of what it is for.

That just sounds silly… not that the others don’t but at least they’re trying lol

nothing wrong with new methods of healing. But when it don’t follow principles of lineage and take core system principles out than it becomes “different system” of self creation of which the fast food western way is. Therefore it shouldn’t be link to ‘reiki’. Just call it a different name, but they kept pushing it being reiki due to brand name marketing. Some things you don’t compromise. it’s not even about the price that you bring up. It’s about integrity. Western version no longer falls in line of reiki training principles. Did you do your research of how the western 2 day training or shorter course come about? it’s about money not the healing skills. Even those teaching those weekend course don’t know the history. they just follow what trainers they had told them. basicaly they got hypnotized that anyone an master healing in 2 days automatically without any self practice meditation. It’s nature. No one can do such mastery. It takes time to reconfigure one’s energy body to be conduit and take time to learn to move energy. I’ve talk to tons of people who taking the short cut route and most can’t do the healing. it’s more placebo effect. real energy workers know the difference. They got experience to back it up,. It’s not about tradition. It’s about the process or proper learning. I can teach anyone to heal with energy but i can 1000% guarantee you they won’t be a master in 2 days. And this is just 2 days where they have no experience working with energy bodies. Lots of scams out in reiki field but people don’t want to use logic common sense. They often lie to themselves. I’m a practical minded person so question , not just take what trainers tell me. I’ve been in the healing field before it even become popular. So many fake systems and teachings of renaming. Weather you lie to self or not. Not my problem. I ask anyone to test it out for self and do proper research. Just cuz lots of people believe it don’t mean it’s reliable when they all got sold the same teachings. I gots people who took reiki training and they are honest. They know how to evaluate self and look at results with open minded eyes and scientifically and not base on what teachers tell them. They admit the training exaggerate the 2 day thing but they know from their own bodies it don’t take 2 day to master energy. Some of the people they took training with went to get the 3rd level in another weekend class yet she still in level 1 self cultivation practices. The other students don’t do the self meditation, they just got all the levels in less than 3 months time and start attuning and training others. And cuz of this . many think 2 day is enough. This happen all the time in many healing field system. Do it as long as reiki and majority think it’s legit. That’s why with any new system. one have to do history research so one knows if it’s legit. Of course one have to critic one’s training and not just take word of trainer. The western reiki has gone into making money and no longer about healing. it’s like a pyramid school scam.

The body knows what’s legit or not. One can’t lie with client’s feedback of actual results. When training goes around saying you an be master of remote location healing just with a thought. that’s when all those training lose credibility with me. It would to you too. If one believe one can heal distant in 2 days after attunement, there’s a bridge to be sold to you. haha. distant healing is not reliably documented or proven.

I got my skills from doing massage for decades of hands on work on real people. What experience can a 2 day training do in developing skills? some things are just logic. don’t fall for the sales pitch of fast food reiki. Of course many deny it cuz they don’t want to feel they got cheated. Just be realistic. Of course many can’t on this forum as you can see base on their viewpoints on magick. Some aren’t keeping it real. Be honest and true to self, not what others tell you. Just cuz there’s a trainer don’t mean you leave you brain outside. The greatest teacher tells you to question and test./validate learnings. The ones that says take my word for it as a fact with no questioning are the scammers.

It’s not being negative as you say. It’s being practical and honest to what’s legit.

@anon8398376
3 months is just for your body to reconfigure. some take longer as they don’t self care during that period. some people take 3 levels back to back a week apart. they don’t gots the skills. they just going through the attunement routine but no real actual skills. placebo effect. Of course they believe they gots skills cuz trainer told them. All these short cut trainers are good hypnotist without knowing. lol.

You can tell big different from reiki pract. who do self cultivation practice and those who took weekend and no self practice of any sorts just by being around them. How one carry self says a lot. Would you go to practitioner that party every weekend and getting drunk/drugs activities every so often? yet they say they highest level reiki practitioner. I don’t believe it. If they level 3. they won’t live life like that. People with skills of energy will not live life like that. All those substance affect one’s energy that conflicts with any energy healing system. To have high skills in energy. One will also make life changes to support such. If they still hardcore partying, that means they haven’t self cultivate which is part of the training of any energy system. It’s basic energy principle. Think of it as Energy Bank. Put junk energy you get junk energy output.

The thing is you’re entitled to your opinion, but it has absolutely nothing to do with me lol. You know nothing whatsoever about the nature of my teacher and training, you’re basically writing a novel based on assumptions.

Is it about the money or not? Is it the history/tradition or not?

What’s practical about making a long winded post full of assumptions that don’t apply?

For the record, I only did level 1, I must do 21 days of self practice before going back for level 2. Apparently when hawayo takata brought reiki out of Japan to the west, 5 of the original 22 masters she trained in Hawaii were from my general area, and she came here to teach more than once. Reiki has a long history around here. Not that that should even matter because it has nothing to do with the topic lol.

I asked a question about offering reiki to demons. One person replied saying they tried it and it’s effective. Case closed.

I know your question was answered but I just wanted to say it’s nice to see this kind of question on BALG. I’m a reiki master and have utilized it for my practices with angels and demons alike if the situation calls for it. I learned over a 10 year period and am still learning all the different ways that the energy can be integrated into daily life.

But I haven’t met or talked to many others who have used reiki on demons or dark entities. It’s uncharted territory for most and something that should really be explored and expanded upon in my opinion. I would also like to point out that Marbas and Uphir specialize in healing techniques. Though I haven’t sent them reiki energy before it could be an interesting experiment to work with them during a healing session.
