Hello! I’m here to ask for advice. I have an ex-partner, from whom I’ve been separated for a long time (4 years).The thing is, I’m trying to come up with a strategy to have a chance at getting back together or at least, be friends, rebuild a friendship between us, which might lead us to fall in love again. But I’m not quite sure how to approach it. Although we had some really good years together (a beautiful and tender love), it all ended quite badly and we were worn out. We’ve each gone our separate ways, including me, but neither of us has had a serious relationship since then. I have very little contact with him because of a shared financial situation, but our conversations are cold and detached. The truth is, I’d love to be able to reconnect with him, open our hearts, and let them reconnect (I don’t know if I’m explaining myself well… being able to fall in love with each other again would be wonderful). But of course, so much time has passed that I don’t know if the usual strategies would work or if I need a different approach (like treating him as if he were a specific person I want to fall in love with, but at the same time “erasing” the old bad memories or feelings). It would also be about getting him to open up, since when we see each other, he’s usually cold and distant, while I tend to be friendlier, but it doesn’t allow for a fluid conversation (he completely shut down the idea of getting back together with me because he ends up feeling very worn out). I was thinking about Goetian demons (maybe Sallos, Dantalion), but I suppose any approach could be useful. Thanks for your input!

How he does I’m not sure, I have never worked with Agares for that purpose, but I know that can do it
Agares isn’t one of the spirits I work closely with, so I don’t know him that well, but from my experiences he is quite laid back, and he has a very subtle and calm energy too him.
There are a few aspects here. Lets break them down.
I’ll provide a summary of my understanding of your objective. Please let me know if I have misunderstood.
1). You hope to restore a relationship, either one of love or friendship, or of friendship that may lead to love again.
My first thought here is that it would be beneficial to consider the adage ‘there are reasons that exes are exes’. So I would suggest that you employ either magickal or mundane means or both to identify why the relationship became non functional. Then employ means magickal/mundane/both etc to mitigate, remedy or neutralise those factors before attempting to reconcile. Otherwise you may well get back together only to separate again swiftly.
In terms of friendship, Trumiel of the 42 angels is a go to here.
In terms of love (in a gentle and subtle sense, rather than just aiming to fire up lust again etc), Amiel (also of the 42) is a viable option - note that this can present as a platonic love, not necessarily a romantic love.
Zanna Blaise’s book ‘angels of love’ has a ritual for repairing a damaged relationship (or a name to that effect). The ritual is for any kind of relationship (romantic, friendship, business etc). The author does give a warning about this, and I can support it from experience of using this both for myself and others… is that if the relationship repair is a non starter, this ritual will show that to you pretty quickly.
2). You wish to ‘erase’ bad memories and feelings.
My suggestion on this front would be to start simple- doing a cord cutting to get rid of unpleasant energy connectivity between the two of you and then drop a hefty banishing on both of you to reinforce the same (with an intentional emphasis on dispelling any energies causing conflict or bad feelings between the two of you.
These measures won’t erase memories, but may well go some way to reducing bad feelings.

I don’t work with angels, but a similar approach could be taken with infernals
if you want to erase bad feelings and memories then Duke Dantalion can probably help with that
if you want to remend the friendship first then Botis, Gusion, Forneus, Raum etc can help with that
Duke Agares can make the individual want too return
and the love spirits of Beleth, Astaroth, Sallos, etc can help rebuild the romantic connection.
in general though I think its just better to use a new spirits too attract a new possible partner.
