What entities are inside the astral plane like god’s, fea, angels, djinn, parasites like that hat man thing, succubi, essentially every entity that have ever been mentioned in relation to Magicka
Is the astral plane endless?
And what are places for sight seeing😄 I heard there is a place that’s just pitch-black with astral parasites just watching you and I thought I’ve read something something like a astral city where the not parasites are just hanging out if I remember correctly
Everything you can think of, plus everything everybody else thinks of.
The astral is the realm of the mind. So whatever you can think of, has a presence there. From things you worry about that aren’t real, to landscapes and creatures from books including fiction, ideas from games, and copies of reality, all of it from the collective mind. This is far I call the “shared astral” - the parts created by multiple people in agreement.
There’s also what I call the “local astral” representing your mind and the things only you know about and directly affecting you.
Other beings can use the astral as well as they also have minds. Some being only exist in the mind and humans create some called thoughtforms and egregores.
Yes it’s as infinite as the universe it exists in is.
Anywhere you can think of. You can visit copies of Earth places, other planets, the insides of suns is cool, or go to the further edges of the universe that you can think of and try to get out, or visit a place from a favorite book or game. Your own astral temple exists here and if you built it nice it’s a good chill out spot, you can also visit your own past lives.
To go this, get into trance and enter the crossroads or what I call “The dark place”, which I see as being a staging location my local astral, blank and and featureless and then shutting in it stands out as needing attention or something really trying to give me info.
From there you can instruct your subconscious to show you anything, or follow a guided meditation etc.
Just thinking about a place takes you there. Thinking about a being if you have already made contact can bring it right in front of you there as well if that’s your intention.
I would say no. It’s where their MINDs can go and we can meet as minds. It’s just a mental plane.
You are more than your mind, and so are they.
If these are energy beings, that is, being that are “incarnate” for want of a better word, then they have other bodies as well as the mental body, just like we do.
Humans have an extra physical body. And of these beings may have physical bodies if they are certain types of ETs, which I believe most of them actually are.
We also have most of the bodies they do - emotional, causal and acausal, and possibly layers beyond that or in between - this is just a model to help us understand.
Models are tools for understanding not Truth™, so it’s ok if you have a different worldview and I’d encourage anyone to explore cosmologies and go with what they feel is right for them. I use the Taoist models. The Norse have a different, if parallel, model that’s very interesting for example. As we are trying to understand through the limitations of the conscious mind and language, there’s a high chance none of us are perfectly correct and yet all of us have a good idea of what’s unseen, at least in part.
Since I’ve already visited hells, heavens, purgatory, and the all-white realm where the guides name reside, I believe the mental body alone isn’t sufficient to access those places. You need the spiritual body and its energy. Somehow, if you’re permitted to visit them, the appropriate form (whether astral or spiritual) will be the one that travels there.
The astral is the plane closest to the physical and intersects it at certain places. There are higher planes however. I recommend reading EA’s book Ipsissimus where he describes his experiences on the formative plane, where all forms flow from.
