Let’s say you did a ritual with demon X (using GOM DOM book) and offered a flower of a certain color in return and the ritual is done and completely forgotten about.
12 months later or so you meditate on demon Y and he/she asks for the exact same color of the same type of flower.
Is this a coincidence? they are both specialize in similar field by the way.
My feeling is that this is how your own energy interacts with theirs, so you can tend to get asked for similar things s that’s how you interpret what the ask is.
Me, I usually get asked for drinkies. Depends on the entity though, quite often they don’t want anything except gratitude, which is in itself a powerful energy to give.

thank you so much for your reply, much appreciated.
may I ask one more question ? (i thought it would be better to ask here than to make another thread)
Fire away! If we end up with a thread that is confusing we can always split it out if need be, but I expect it’ll be fine.

Thank you
Let’s say a “petition for results” from DOM has been performed, where a spirit has been called and let’s say an orange juice has been offered as per agreement.
Now, the confusing part for me is, according to the book we should grant licence to depart once the ritual is done which can be awkward inviting a guest, offer a drink and send them away right away.
Should I summon then place the drink on the table and leave until morning and then do the licence to depart? I dont know how wise it is to keep a spirit in your home overnight, they might not be OK with it as well, im sure they got better things to do haha.
So the question is how do I make sure they ENJOY the drink and keep the whole process smooth and of course with maximum respect to the spirit.
I’ll let others answer who perform rituals this way. I don’t use that Demons of Magick book, I’m more of an E.A. Koetting method user.
So personally, I don’t usually banish entities I’m actively working with. (I banish the uninvited). But I’m working cooperatively not antagonistically.
As I understand it “license to depart” is not a banishing though. But based on the semantics there, it’s saying they can go if they want to. That leaves them time to take what they want of the offering and they can wibble of when they’re ready.
It’s possibly a holdover from the Solomonic method, where the entity is bound and forced to stay and do work or else get bullied by the “names of god” or something, and can’t wait to get away.
