Qing gong(Merging with the air element)

Watching a video that talks about were martial artists defying gravity come from. And it just occurred to me that this is a perfect example of when Franz Bardons Initiation into Hermetics book talks about merging with the elements particularly the Air element.

Anyone whose at least skipped to the element sections of the book will know what I’m talking about after watching this

That is one way to do it but if you studies the works more you would realize it is really accomplished by a balancing of electric and magnetic fluids rather than the air element direction. The air element is the inefficient but simple way to do it. There is merit in not getting too caught up in earlier practices to achieve powers where you need only to meet a certain mark and work towards a deeper understanding than what is just on the surface.

chi gong* chi literally means breath/air. and gong? well gong fu/ kung fu literally means hard word over time.chi gong just means breathwork. fcking sick of chinese folks trying to mystify everything

It just means “energy training” Qi = energy, It’s not specific to the air element, which is a thing in Chinese theory on it’s own.

Gong = training. (hard work over time - like, “time under tension” in the gym? Ergo the English translation is just “training”.

Gong fu is moreof a English misspelling of qangfa, meaning skills training in general - not just martial arts. Qi gong fu would mean “the way of training qi”. It’s implied that this refers to internal human energy. There are more types of Qi that are not specifically human. Earth Qi and Cosmic Qi for example.

There’s also a Siddhi for this, whet the practitioner learn to make their body as light as air. This is a different Siddhi than levitation I think.

basically, I think it could be possible, but it’s one of those where it may or may not come after decades of meditation and work on yourself. The earlier you start the better.

A post was split to a new topic: Chris3me/Mulberry convo

I should star reading more on those parts then
Thanks for the information

You definitely do feel lighter when you train accumulation of air element, but that was all that was in my experience, just a feeling.

Maybe someone who is really experienced in accumulating this one particular aspect of air could increase their speed or something similar. But that sounds very niche imo, not worth pursuing. Let alone the things Pai Mei is doing in this video, lol.

Oh I agree but let’s face it.

If these mystic teachings grew common today as they did back then.

Someone would eventually have super speed
