Purify

anyone have the beast way for purifying a area

It really depends on your practice. I use the LBRP (Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram) but many wiccans love to just burn sage. Try some things and see what you like

I used to burn sticks of Palo Santo. Doesn’t smell bad either!

Define “purify.” To purify something means to remove anything unwanted or deemed as negative. So if you are planning on using a room for demonic magick, for example, to purify the room might mean removing any angelic influence before consecrating it to the demonic.

If you mean to simply clear it of unwanted energies, then there are a variety of methods to do so.

The simplest method I know of is EA’s banishing incantation from Kingdoms of Flame, or the angelic banishing Micah channeled here:

They both work to clear an area of all energies whatsoever.

Speaking of which, let me ask you a question. As I said the “Introduce yourself” post, I’m pretty new to this, so forgive my ignorance.

As I understand, with the LBRP you evoke the energetic signature of 4 angels to prevent any unwanted entities from entering the protected space. I’ve heard you can perform the LBRP with demons instead of angels. Have you any experience with this ritual?

With the LBRP you do not evoke anything. You call upon the power of the angels to cleanse your space, and then to set up a circle to keep your area clear of any interfering entities or forces, but they do not appear before you.

In my opinion, no, you cannot do the true Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram with demons instead of the angels. To do so actually disrupts the energetic matrix of the ritual because there is a lot more going on with the LBRP than just calling on certain spirits. In fact, the invocation of the archangels is only a small part of the whole thing.

However, there are plenty of banishing rituals available on the web that use demons or other beings if you would prefer not to use the angels. They are just not the LBRP.
