As the backbone of my former life and most people and the culture I know I am looking for practical resources and a book on Christian magick, protestant rather than catholic, which is hard to find, with my subconscious experience and predisposition it should integrate well as a tool, for example I can speak the psalms and other things quite powerfully if it doesn’t compromise my new framework
“Christian magick”, that is to say Christian with esoteric practice, I just know the gnostics, they are not protestant as far as I know, but there are gnostic authors like Samael Aun Weor and there are also books. Mormons also have esoteric practices but they are close, secret.
I’m sort of looking for a way to use my childhood installed frame work and hide my magick at the same time, I supposed Christian mysticism and esotericism is all that is available…?
What books so you reccomwnd if any?
Any christian would probably tell you… “scripture”. They don’t do in for anything else and label it all demonic. Read the good book and follow the word of the lord. No ifs, ands or buts.
Finding books on actual protestant magick is quite a challenge, not least for the reason that protestant denominations are usually against not only magick but all kinds of “unbiblical” mysticism. The closest thing to magick within that framework what I can think of would probably be Christian law of attraction stuff, like in this book (just an example): God's Law of Attraction: The Believer's Guide to Success and Fulfillment: Lee, Susan: 9781483969534: Amazon.com: Books
Of course there are books about gnosticism, ancient Coptic magick and general Christian esotericism etc. as mentioned, but these aren’t protestant material.
I’ll just design something myself
I have only read one book by Samael Aun Weor, and I don’t really remember the title , it was about 6 years ago. But If you are interested you can search for books by him or any other gnostic author.
This is actually going better than i thought, the psalms already have a prebuilt structure, I have designed my own prebuilt structure: 1. Words of power 2. verses/combinations 3. combination passages 4. entire psalms
I already have a verse about the astral body of light, one about protection, and a few on love magick
the Bible is supposed to be full of magic. Most of the books of the old testament were edited by Ezrah the scribe (aka Ezrah master of the Babylonian school of mysteries) around 250BC. and the last individual to have his hands on the KJV before it was released to the public was Francis Baçon. (another master of the schools of mysteries)
If I remember correctly the book named the Secret in the Bible says the keys is Psalms 119. Psalms 119; the longest chapter in the Bible; is a list of poems. The first poem every line begins with the letter aleph. In the second poem ever line begins with the letter beta. If you can figure out the code all of the secrets of the old testament will be open for you to see.
I saw a book on Amazon called Jesus Magic. But I havent looked at it.
I dont know what secrets Francis Baçon put in the new testament or the 15 books that were removed from KJV in 1850, but lot of people have pointed out that Jesus is more of a ghuru than a mage. When Jesus said “the kingdom of god is within you”, he meant that instead of looking outside to solve your problems, you should be looking inside yourself.
If you really want a book you can go on Amazon or Barnes and Noble and put Christian magic in the search bar. There will be more books than you have money in your pocket to buy🤠
