What type of protection do you recomend to work with when doing a curse … especial y if working with Forcalor?? I have been using the DoM book for my rituales but I have read on here that working with Forcalor can be hard and I want to preform magick safely especially since I have kids and want to protect them from energies

Wards and shields. You want to have these up around yourself as a basic step in your spiritual hygiene anyway, but do the rounds and check them all, add protection around your pets, kids and other loved ones in case of backlash.
There’s no real difference. You might adjust things based on the type of magick you’re doing, not so much the entity… hmn, unless the entity is very chaotic, and then maybe do the working somewhere else other than your house so chaos doesn’t spill over into your home. Forcalor is good though.

What do you mean with wards and shields ? My first language is Spanish and it’s hard to understand it all

They are shells of energy you build around yourself that repel attack. Exactly as a shield defends against attack from being stabbed by a sword. A ward is the same thing about around a house or your bed - it “wards off” attack.
