Is it true that parasites do not exist in bright sunlight? Does this make performing rituals in sunlight one of the best means of protection?

No. It’s just harder for us to sense them as they get kind of drowned out by the “noise” of the sun’s energy.
A parasite embedded inside you is protected by your energy as well.

Is it common for parasites to disrupt or tamper with electrical lighting?
I thought that energetic parasites were attached to a person’s aura and not the inside of the body, that would be parasite possession, unless you mean ordinary physical parasites like intestinal parasites
In my opinion, the sun can weaken if you are directly in the sunlight, for example in the summer, and you give an intention and focus on how the sun burned and destroyed these parasites. In my opinion, it will work if the parasite is in the aura

Not usually, poltergeist activity is usually down to humans in the household being stressed, next culprit is human ghosts, and finally entities attracted to you doing magick and either trying to get your attention, or big enough to disrupt electrical sources.
Define “body” - we have a few. By “inside” I usually mean the psyche - embedded within the mental, qi, emotional or other layers, and these bodies all overlap, so yes, parasites can be within the physical body as well, and start causing physical ailments, i particular, fatigue.
Have you tried it and done a proof of concept?
I had a parasite that attached to me in childhood, and I hardy avoided sunlight in 20 years, .and it also managed to stay attached over the 6 months it took me to get rid of it and I am in sunlight every day.
I’ve never noticed any parasite be weaker or easier to remove depending on light levels myself, and removing them is a specialty of mine. I can pay more attention to that if there’s a next next time I guess. I never tried fighting it while sunbathing 
But then, these things are harder to detect in the noise (have you noticed how VERY noisy the sun is, astrally? I’m very yin, and it bothers me, it’s like a huge roaring thing and very distracting, this is why I do all my workings at night), as I said, so my own ability to see and attack it is also diminished in the sun.
The “light” that gets rid of the the best, is astral fire. You could breathe in sunfire and direct that it I bet, but just ambient sunlight without any INTENTION behind using it, isn’t gong to do much against non-physical entities. Part of the point of embedding is to hide behind your protections as far as I ca tell - I mean, just look at an embedded parasite and see for yourself, nothing can get to it without going through you first.
It IS great for bacteria, viruses, and boosting your immune system to fight anything that has a physically incarnated manifestation.

I mean, stand or meditate in direct sunlight and simply charge up sunlight that shines directly at you to burn and destroy the parasites and then imagine how the sun burned and destroyed them and be in the fact that it’s done, they are burned and destroyed
and yes, I tried it, it worked for me
maybe it’s harder with attached parasites that are several years old

Yes that would work - I think we’re saying the same thing that intention is required, it’s not just a a walk in the park, which is what I thought you were saying in your first post.
I visualize fire and that has a similar effect - as I have said many times on tis forum
The sun is a properly a plasma, not combusting in the normal sense though it’s heat can trigger things to combust, it’s not the same thing, and I want the parasite consumed not just energized and shining. Depending on the entity the sun can simply feed it.
I will also grab parasites and hurl them into the Sun. I see the sun as a portal to the black hole in the center of the galaxy, and if you really want something gone from this universe, not just on it’s way to reincarnating, that will do it.

It depends on the intention example:
It is my energy and the parasite is just an intruder and I on my main level consciously with intention focus on the solar energy burning and destroying it so then I doubt it will charge parasites to be more radiant
I was also inspired by this idea from the book The Encyclopedia of 5000 Spells from Judika Illes there, for example, it was mentioned in the banish unwanted spiritual entities by reflecting direct sunlight when the sun shines through a window using a mirror and aiming it at the entities directly…
So that’s why I thought of using it like this with the sun and I tried it myself.
And also the sun is considered to be very high vibrational with pure life energy
a parasite is a low vibrational being that feeds mostly on negative energies
if a parasite feeds on solar energy in your opinion ,why would it attach itself to a human when the parasite can stand in the sun and simply sunbathe and recharge itself
