I have noticed problem in having the paper with my written request burned in the bowl. it does not burn it completely. I was thinking what type of paper do you use for burning request?
Normal letter paper or bits ripped from my Journal, which are nothing more cheap composition books

Are you using recycled paper? I have noticed that sometimes recycled paper will be harder to burn than virgin paper.

I use computer or Microsoft paper.
I use printer paper, construction paper, or linen paper.
Sometimes it doesn’t burn all the way because it’s touching something (i.e. the bowl). I just relight it. I got myself a pair of short incense tongs so I can just hold the paper over the bowl instead, it burns much more complete that way for me.

I use a pair of tweezers to help it burn more completely before setting it into the bowl.

It’s printer paper I have used and it does not burn completely.
I use regular paper and either throw them in my fire pit while I have a fire going or I will use tweezers before lighting the paper over a bowl
