I’ll second The Craft, since there was some good stuff in it - invocation, psychic attack, the only true darkness or light being in the heart of the witch, a love spell backfiring, etc. (The film seems to have had an effect on its stars: Fairuza Balk owned LA’s oldest occult shop for several years and Rachel True is currently a tarot reader.)
