i had an obe and in my experience i was laying doen and seen people in all black robes standing around me speaking islamic and i started to float. Any ideas ?

The astral is a very busy place. Maybe you stumbled on a prayer meeting.
Try to decide in advance where you will go, and have a location you can think of to go to to get out of situations or away from people or places you don’t need to be around.

Muslim men don’t typically pray wearing black robes, but women can… how did you know it was Islamic speech (Arabic)? Do you remember any more details?
No one said they did.
Dreams do not typically show you what is, but symbolism that means more than it looks. It’s a bad idea take dream appearances at face value, that’s usually misleading.
Symbolism is specific to the dreamer, but in this case this black, cloaked symbolism would probably imply secretiveness, a closed group that not just anyone is allowed into, and outside parties are not welcome to just see what’s happening inside.

Pointing out the robes wasn’t really the point of my question. My question was to clarify how the writer knew they were speaking “Islamic”? It could be people speaking Arabic and, in another religion practice, for example.
Understanding that perception along with the details could provide other insights about the vision.

I want to say Islamic, but it could’ve been Arabic. I’m not sure they were just chanting.
