I don’t see why there would be. They all are just models for the same underlying cosmos. None of them are the truth and none of them are wrong, or, “the map is not the terrain”.
I would say then, as long as your intention is clear so you’re not working at cross purposes there shouldn’t be an issue.
Norse doesn’t separate the trees of life and death into a dualistic approach, strength (Thurisaz) can be use for attack and protection, and is not in itself “twisted” or good or bad. There is no concept of the “right way” (Sephiroth) to distort, and that helps make things like the runes, being neutral in that sense, easy to integrate into any work including Qlipphotic.
Eh, I’m not sure about that.
I don’t think though that it’s appropriate to equate Ginnungagap with Sitra Achra. These are totally different concepts if you read up on them.
I realize the English word chaos used as translation for both, but I call this misleading if you look up what both are and compare in detail.
There’s no utility and much confusion, to selectively picking the bits that do relate and throwing out the rest of the meanings. I call this the “matchy matchy” game and people try to do it with entities ll the time and al you do is oversimplify and disrespect.
in being used as translations for both of these, I think, it’s best just to stick to the word used in the relevant literature.
One is simple primordial void, like the Tao, and all things can come from it. It’s not “evil” in any way, it just is. Whether manifestation is good or bad is a matter of human judgement (which is also a form of manifestation) not quality or intention. Ginnungagap has no intention at all - that is also only a manifestation out of the void not of the void.
Chaos may not be desirable if you’re an “order enjoyer”
, but it’s not evil - and it’s not organized enough to be anything nameable.
Sitra Achra on the other hand is the Jewish realm of evil for “impure” spiritual forces (also a form of manifestation and therefore not part of Ginnungagap), and is this not equatable to “primordial chaos”. Anything with stuff in it isn’t a void, by the definition of the word “void” itself
