Greetingsa. I’m “Wavemaker”. I’ve been practicing for about 4 years seriously. It all started w reading online spells about getting exes back which I never did manifest. She actually ended up getting with my best friend and I’m just now realizing that could’ve potentially…nvm. I had somewhat of a rejection towards religion in my early 20s bc I learned a unique relationship of African Americans and Christianity. I was disgusted to say the least after learning what I learned. I eventually bounced around various religions and spiritual systems. Then I came to the realization that I could affect reality. I did have somewhat of a fetishized view of magick at first, but I quickly learned that this can be fun but nothing to play with.
The first ritual I did I made up. I used intentions and a drawing. Most of the ritual worked. I wanted more systematic practices so I picked up some Damon Brand books. I’ve learned mostly angel magick. I’ve had some experience with demons geniuses.
I’m from GA.
My current goal is to find a path and stay there so I can grow. I’m currently tryna get away from the Abrahamic stuff altogether, even though I really like the consistency I get working with Angel magick and genius spirits.
I think I have this comfort zone fear about the Hebrew magick I’ve practiced. I’m currently learning about elemental magick. This online group I’m connected with have been speaking very positive about it. I know they’ve practiced some of the stuff I’m tryna get away from so I feel that elemental magick is a good start for my desire to exit the Abrahamic matrix I’ve been socialized in and also for my personal tastes.
