This is self contradictory. If the way to get magick to work is the foundational skills, a thing I agree with, then there’s no reason for any book to be a failure. There are only failing mages who didn’t do it in a way that worked.
It’s not what you do, it’s the way that you do it, and ask roads lead to Rome.
No book is magick by itself, no tool, stem or candle does anything by itself. The practitioner is the magickal being that brings his magick to the whole operation.
Failing to get a spell or book to work is a failure on the mages part, not the book.
Yes, these rituals do work. The key is that you must perform it, and then forget about it completely without focussing on wether it worked.
I did a ritual and my target got facial paralysis, spent money on medication, then had to see a different specialist because the medicine was not working.
Yeah but there’s more too it than that. For some people the magick of Corwin, The GoM, or the PoM just does not work. It could be due to the formula used, biological blocks, spiritual/astral blocks, a persons existing spirit guides, or the spirits being worked with themselves. They can choose to not help and actively dislike certain people. Many of the spirits of the goetia have astrological correspondences just like their angelic Shem counterparts.
I’ve found that certain types spirits with certain types astrological correspondences gravitate towards individuals that are more like themselves. Myself for example tends primarily attract spirits corresponding roughly from Gemini to Aquarius except Cancer but not many Piscean, Arian, Taurean, or Cancerian as I said before. So in some cases it could literally be down to a personality clash just like people or even a conflict of interests.
It worked for nightmares twice but I have not seen any results in the other rituals.

Oh I should get his books which are the same rehashed golden dawn stuff, instead of Damon Brand and Corwin Hargrove books which are assembled and written better, and have more helpful communities to chat with. Riiiiight.
Could it be just too soon for results? And did you try on breaking down their spiritual defenses first?
I usually always do that from Angels of Wrath, along with cause blindness, and have them bound.
Even atheist targets aren’t as defenseless as we might think and they can have a strong aura and even strong protective spirits around them. Jsut saying.
So, I got confirmation today that the ritual I did for ‘Career Collapse’ on a colleague worked fantastically! I did it around October, soon after the book was released,but I didn’t hear anything about this colleague untill today. Via another person. It seems the misfortune happened around December, so took around 2 months.
I had not seen her for several months (sometimes she works in a different building). Anyway, she was studying for some exams to help her career, and she had to pass then to move ahead. As part of this, she had to present work to a panel and pass an oral exam/interview. I heard it was a disaster, and she failed badly. One of the examiners apparently tore her work to shreds.
Keep in mind, this is someone who has lied about her qualifications and level of knowledge and experience. She was found out during this exam that she doesn’t understand even the basics. I can’t go into more detail as it might identify her, but she was totally discovered for being a liar and incompetent.I wouldn’t be surprised if she had plagiarised the data she used either, as she is the type.
That’s great to hear! It is kind of discouraging to see very few success stories from this newest book of his. I also performed this particular ritual on someone 2 months back. Will be posting my results here once the aftermath is revealed to me!
