New Corwin Hargrove book! Demon Curse Magick

I’ve just seen on Amazon that Corwin has a new book - released today apparently. Annoyingly, there appears to be no Kindle version , either on the US or UK site, which is odd, as all his past books are on Kindle. I’m hoping the Kindle version might appear in a few days? I know sometimes it takes a while to show up on Amazon. No paperback version either. Only a hardback, which is $24.99 for 135 pages - seems a bit pricey, but the book sounds interesting. You can read a sample of the contents. Anyone already got it?

Any preorders would have started shipping today, give it a week and people should start receiving their copies if they preordered. I didn’t preorder so I won’t be one of them.

I had no idea this book was coming. I’d not seen it mentioned anywhere. I hope there is a Kindle version. I like to have my occult books available to me on my phone, wherever I go. Plus, they’re always much cheaper.

The Kindle edition has just appeared on Amazon UK. So I’m guessing it will now be on the US one as well. Excellent!

Just reading the intro now and it isn’t pathworking he uses with this book like his Goetia one. It’s Words of Power cursing! This sounds interesting. Never come across a method that uses words of power to curse. Using three demons to carry out your request.

So, I performed my first ritual from this book a few hours ago.

I didn’t feel anything energetically. If I land connection in a ritual, I usually strongly feel it energetically. But this is a ritual of very different design to any I am used to, it may be that connection presents differently.

I do feel that I stumbled a little as I placed perhaps too much attention on trying to land the wording (which I realise doesnt have to be perfect)- partly because the phonetic renderings and the similar word examples given to support the phonetic renderings seem at odds with each other in some cases.

The process in the book is very simplistic. Which is totally fine as long as it works. For me, this kind of made me second guess myself as I went… am I focussing on the right aspects of things in the feeling the rage stage? etc.

I tend to over complicate in my own mind.

Time will tell. I will engage another target with another ritual in a few days.

New post today from Chris Wood, the director of Power of Magick publishing:

He said that they’ve now signed Corwin Hargrove, so he is published by them now, and there’ll be more new titles from him next year, which is great!

Intetesting, thanks for sharing. I’m going to try my first ritual later today. I never tend to feel very much when conducting rituals.Especially with pathworking or words of power type ones. I did feel slightly more using his Jinn book, but the Jinn are a whole different level of spirits! But I get results anyway. Can’t wait to try this, as I have a couple of longstanding prime targets to deal with. One who is a work colleague that has caused problems on and off for the last 7 years, because she’s a total lunatic. So I think a combination of the Financial Ruin, Career Collapse and Emotional Destruction rituals will be a good trio to hit her with. Especially as she has problems controlling her anger at times.

I like Corwin’s no nonsense, straightforward approach. And his attitude to cursing - he comes from what I call the FAFO school of thought - as in ‘Fck Around, Find Out.’ Another great job, Mr H!

Interesting, theyve tended to shy away from anything baneful in the past

I noticed that too. Maybe they’ve realised there’s a big (bigger maybe?) market in dark/baneful magick, as opposed to just Angelic magic?

I took a look and I’m actually interested in this one. The Gallery’s new stuff is just rehashing the old but this could be fun to experiment with.

The price is a little high. Corwin Hargrove is an author that wrote mixed books. I really respect Demons of deception - those rituals are miraculous! Fixed many problems with my life with them. However, I was totally disappointed with Practical Jinn Magick - lots of material to learn/note, very long rituals full of evocation and… nothing. Maybe Jinns don’t cooperate with me, or maybe it’s bull5h1t. Lots of promises in the book and almost nowhere discussion about it. So I’m a little bit careful about his new book.

Probably. Anger is more motivating than happiness.

Really? I had some excellent results with his Jinn book. The new book is cheap on Kindle. Why don’t you buy that version? I haven’t ever bought the paper version of an occult book - the electronic versions are much cheaper usually and it means I can have access to them on my phone or tablet wherever I go. I find it much more convenient.

Yea. I just think that the world is full of aholes that make others lives miserable, so that type of magick is popular, when it involves crushing enemies. I know I’m always interested in new ways to take down the aholes that cross my path!

Personally, I am more successful in my curse magick. I seem to have a talent for it that isn’t replicated to the same level regarding love or other forms of ‘positive magick.’ I have no idea why…
