In Ea koettings Mastering Evocation course section 4 he gives an excercise to structure objects, which I am having a real hard time to do. Like I am not even able to see the image clearly in my mind, the only success I had with the excercise is only being able to see the image/object for a few seconds and as I try to make up the other details of the object the previous one fades away. Can anyone please help me with this excercise or give any advice that would help me. Also I think I am able to get into the theta state by that technique which Ea koetting mentions as to gaze at where the walls and the ceiling meets but is there anyway to know if I am actually into the theta state other than being more sensitive to sounds?
It’s a matter of practice. Some people do have trouble visualizing, and at first only see indistinctly in their mind eye, but as you try the same exercise it gets a little better each time. Practicing twice a day or as many times as you can just briefly will improve this over weeks.
@mulberry Thanks
Try just thinking about the image. In my experience, tension kills the ability to visualise, especially mental tension. When you daydream there’s no mental tension.
Your first mistake was even buying the course. I bought two of his courses back in 2014. (“Evocation” and “Soul Travel”) He basically paraphrases everything he already says in his books.
Second, what you’re really doing is inducing trance states fueled by emotion or desire for something, which turns into authoritative commanding. Just realize what you’re doing is inducing trances through various means while focusing on the thing you want to manifest. (like the spirit’s presence) Then it will all go smoother. It does take repetition and experimenting with different ritual processes. But you’ll find that it slowly starts to become an equation, a routine. (Like Koetting says in his book “Evoking Eternity“)
@Asher thanks for the advice.
