I actually mostly agree with everything said here. But my take on it is a little on the side.
“The veil” - I’ve always been on the impression that this is referring to a veil over your eyes, that keeps you from seeing into other layers or into your own past if you have one. (Let’s face it. New souls do happen.) What I dislike is when people refer to it like it’s a barrier, but for me it’s more like static and you just have to tune the TV better. Wiggle your rabbit ears. I’m sorry for those of you who have not had this frustrating and educational experience. =^-^=
Remembering is something else. It’s more common than the mainstream would like you to think, and it can be triggered when you get around a catalyst. (goes ting) There are a lot of factors. You can live your life remembering the other times, and the other times can sometimes give you strength to live this live better. There are lessons learned, muscles built, and intelligence gathered from your other years. To not remember them at all means they aren’t learned at all for the moment, at least not for the most part. But “I remember that I was an opera diva” can help a LOT when you’re picking up that ukulele for the first time, because you’re so very driven to sing and sing some more.
There was this guy once who was a devout Mormon. I accidentally triggered him into remembering a specific event. The next day he called me to tell me he had been told not to speak to me about these things anymore, because Remembering was wholly against his religion. And I think he got into trouble. That doesn’t help.
People do tend to live their lives in survival mode. It makes it difficult to remember something from 4 years ago much less 400, unless there are high emotions attached - as has been remarked upon in this thread. But you can do it, you can get past that.
You live your life with purpose. You notice and ponder as much as you can. Being observant is a very core part of being able to remember. The thing that holds so many people back is although they’re observing if they didn’t make any errors in that report, they’re not observing the other things -the sights, the smells, the mood of the people around them, what the weather is like, the feel of their desk, and (most importantly) where they stand in the time and place of their life at that given moment.
Where you stand is how you find yourself. It’s like breadcrumbs on the trail BACK to the wicked witch.
Don’t be afraid to sit in a quiet space and use remote viewing as the START of casting yourself out, following your own thread, and finding things to learn. This can be tricky. You have to just let the events play out. You can’t think about them. You can’t try to manipulate them. You can’t do anything that might put yourself into a daydream or sleep dream.
Most importantly.
You must learn to detach your feelings from those memories and learn to watch them as a movie. If you don’t you are running the risk of an emotional breakdown.
Don’t go too hard and too fast. Also, you may hurt yourself if you don’t.
Crawling back under my rock now. I hope you figure it out.
