Meditation, Mental Chatter, And A 7-Day Challenge - Who's In? ☼ September 2020 Round 2!

Its in the first OAA flame lesson close to receipt of the first flame.
Its also been mentioned as far back as Eliphas Levi, farther back maybe. The source of light and power I guess is the only way I can put it. Franz Bardon had exercises on this too.

Oh, I think I know what exercise you’re talking about.

Which it occurred to me that the first exercise is to immerse yourself in darkness, mentally visualizing yourself and the environment in detail, then psi ball magnetism/mudra’s. The second exercise is the pendulum visualization, the third candle sensing/color, the fourth energy work with the astral light. In each of these there should be consciousness shifts and awareness, which could be useful with brainwave states and has to intersect at some point.
And while most all of this is darkness, but to enter one lesson and not come out of it … It can’t be good for the mind, and I wonder what wave that would be stuck on.

But will practice doing these meditations every day with observing or silencing. Seven days both but one at a time.
Thanks @Lady_Eva and @DarkestKnight.

You’re welcome my friend. I’m glad to help.

As far as states go, the first exercise of the OAA puts me in light Alpha, and the pendulum exercise deepens it for me, but it doesn’t take me deep enough for Theta.

i haven’t done the inhaling light and vibrating godnames exercise yet so I can’t speak to it.

On god names, Bardin has an evocation book that names primal spirits before someone arrived on the scene.

Breathing - Seven day observe mental chatter challenge - Day 2
Location: Nylon lawn chair on deck.
Environment silent except for riding mower, birds and other neighborhood noise.
Posture: Feet flat on floor, arms loosely on armrests. Eyes closed, chin down.
Time: 3:15 minutes.
Distractions:
Visualizing roots growing out of my feet and down into the ground, I see bugs and gnomes amd stuff, going deeper I go down further, experiencing water, fire, air amd earth until I am in bedrock.
Then comes circulation of energy inhalations up right leg, exhalations down left leg until it is natural.
I imagine a brighter green aura as I envision myself the color of a calm hulk.
The energy reverses, I have a realization now forgotten.
An exercise of breathing and grounding at the same time.
Breathing in silent out silent.

I haven’t been writing it here so I’ll start over since I feel writing it out is extremely helpful in seeing and setting good patterns for one’s self.

I have been working with 3-5 mins at night before bed because it helps my sleep process along with working sleep aide medications out. This has really helped with the detox I guess you could call it.
Also 3 mins when I’m frustrated has been doing wonders

Old thread, but I think I’ll try. If anything, maybe recording my sucking on a public forum will help me see what’s going wrong.

I will join in too. :relaxed:

Twelve minute meditation video, starting now…

Edit:

Location - Living Room, sitting on couch, bare feet on the floor
Timeslot - 12 minute video was too short! I slid right into an 18 minute video afterwards. 30 minutes total.
Environment - Husband and puppy napped through both of them - lucky me!
Notes - I am very grateful for headphones. Snoring was still a minor distraction.

Day 2

Location - Living Room, sitting on couch, bare feet on the floor
Timeslot - 20 minutes.
Environment - Quiet and still.
Notes - I almost fell asleep. Maybe I did fall asleep just a little. That’s very rare for me during meditation. I must be awfully tired. :woman_shrugging:
