It depends on the nature of the death, IMO.
If due to disease, it might be possible to not only rally entities to their side for healing, but to investigate what other entities might he responsible - enochian cacodaemons, goets, Lwa, etc.
If a violent death, entities for protection.
A spiritual death, not sure.

Rally as many protective entities to their side as possible. Petition higher powers. Perhaps a pact.

Azazel, belial, lucifer, paimon. Any war god or protection deity. Take your pick choose a pantheon. Protection gods are second most common after fertility ones.
