I am very attracted to work with darkness. I feel at ease in it. she calms me all the time, she is always as loving as a mother herself, a kind mother to a child or a loving woman, she always accepts me for who I am. I meditate how my energy becomes dark and becomes so pleasant and calm in my soul, how darkness enters me and we become one and after it I feel full of energy. But I understand that we need to move on. What spirit should I start working with other than demons? I want to work with darkness itself, is that possible? Is there a deity that is true darkness?

If there is such a thing as true darkness, then certainly there is a spirit of it. You could simply invoke “The Spirit of True Darkness” by addressing them as such, that is how I would go about it.

I can’t think of any names for a dirty of darkness. Deities of night yes like Nyx. So depending on what you mean by darkness and mean by deity of darkness you may or may not be able to find a name.
Deities of night, the moon and similar have names (depending on the culture they’re from) but if I read you right that not what you’re actually looking for. To me it seems you might be looking for a name for a prinordial deity and recorded deity names don’t go back much farther then the Babylonia/Mesopotamia kingdom times (approximately 8000 years ago).
So you’ll likely need to direct your search in that direction Babylonian or Mesopotamian dieties like Kingu and Tiamat or Set/Seth and Apep/Apophis of ancient Egypt to even come close to connecting to the primordial entities of darkness. For the record

Make it all up from his head would have been written no earlier then the Middle Ages which is doubtful since Saudi Arabia only became a country called Saudi Arabia in 1902.
For the record (quickly onbtained from google)
The earliest documented use of the word Arab in reference to a people appears in the Kurkh Monoliths, an Akkadian-language record of the Assyrian conquest of Aram ( 9th century BCE ).
So since the supposed writer is referred to as the mad Arab any of Lovecraft’s source material is post 900 CE (Or in common Christian reference 900 AD) therefore not sourced from old enough materials to be contacting primordial beings of darkness.
So I’m going to suggest make up your own ritual to contact the beings you seek and look toward ancient Egypt and Ancieny Mesopotamia/Babylonia fur inspiration and reference materials. Or you could just go with something like “I call on you ancient primordial darkness “…. etc etc etc to try reach them

Yeah as @Kish said it depends on what your looking for it might lead you to deities of night as well as deities of chaos, since that would be the primordial darkness we rose from in many ancient cultures.

I don’t know about a "darkness personified " figure. so maybe the closest would be “cthonic” or underworld deities, moon deities, and deities that are juxtaposed to “light” deities. Tey tend to be female and darkness is yin and so is the feminine.
Descriptive words for Yin include dark, soft, quiet, enfolding, small, cool, calm, feminine, receiving, subdued, serene.
So you have Ereshkigal, Hekate, The Morrighan, Kali, Moon, Santa Muerte, Hades, Ahriman, Pluto, Hel, Anubis, Apep, Baron Samedi/Maman Brigitte,and many more.
I kind of like the suggestion to just go with “the spirit of darkness” which I’d think of as pure yin energy. All the others come with big personalities that imo detract from the purity and simplicity of the dark as a concept. I’m also a fan, myself.

Or atleast lucid dreaming so darkness can came to you.
