I wonder if the astral body could traverse the sound waves or the quantum field??
Not sound waves, sound waves don’t actually travel per see, they are vibrations in physical matter causing the matter next to them to start moving, like waves in water. Your astral body is made of more than kinetic energy, so this is not enough. Sound cannot propagate though a vacuum for this reason: no matter to vibrate.
Astral bodies are mostly electromagnetic energy.
I’m not sure what you mean by quantum field. EM waves already travel just fine though a vacuum.
