Is or was Lilith an Angel or not?

I mostly work with fallen angels like Lilith

As has been explained in another thread, @Falllenangelicstan96, Lilith is NOT a fallen angel, because In order to be one of those, you have to first be an angel, and Lilith was never an angel.

If you read all the myths, and legends about her, you find that she were an angel, maybe not a fallen angel but a angel nerveless. For example in one myth/legend/stories of her she and her sisters are considered the four angels of prostitutions.

She didnt use the term Angel but when I first met her she kept telling me “I am the guardian of prostitutes”.

Oh, really? that cool, what else did she say she is, when she talked to you?

I cant say everything sorry! She is a complex one, very multifaceted. My personal gnosis and that of some others I know is the Lilith died a long time ago. All thats left is those who keep the memory alive.

I have read all of them and, no, she has NEVER been called an angel. In Judaism, where her myths originated, she has always been considered a seductress and a demon, never an angel.

In the other thread, I explained this too. The title of Angel of Prostitution doesn’t mean she is, or ever was, an actual angel. It’s not literal. It means she is a guardian and protector of those who practice the once sacred art of prostitution.

It’s like when someone comes to the rescue of another person in distress, the person who is helped will often call the rescuer “my angel.” Doesn’t mean they were an actual angel.

That ur thought, not everyone agrees with you, I don’t where you read your story on who is Lilith, but according to Zohar Kabbalah text, there are four women who mated with the archangel Samael: Lilith, Agrat bat Mahlat, Eisheth Zenunim, and Naamah. Three were said to have already been fallen angels while one was a mortal women who fled the Garden of Eden as a demon due to whispering a secret name. They became the Queens of Hell, and all four have begot with Samael. All but Lilith bore children; Lilith instead spawned offspring called Lilim or Lithu ‘children of night terrors’, the others offspring were called ‘the oracles of divinity and sacred prostitution’. It also states in the Kabbalah that these sacred angels were sent to lustful men in their sleep and removed some of their lust, or sent them on a journey to the oracles in order for their sin to be removed from their souls so they won’t become possessed. In Christian and Judaic beliefs the four angels were demonized by priests, thus the succubus was born. the source is “The Succubus, and Sacred Angels of Prostitution” by: Kaitlyn Parks](Life as a Polymorph Otherkin — The Succubus and Sacred Angels of Prostitution by:...)

Takes a deep breath… not enough… another deep breath…

Stan, can you please, PLEASE, read your own sources before pasting them here?

From your own link:

For starters the Kabbalah states that Lilith was the first wife of Adam, but because she was made from the same materials as Adam (dust) she was not submissive to him during sex

It says NOWHERE (again, in your link) that Lilith was an angel.

Now, personally, I really don’t have any fucks to give on this. I have no dog in this fight. And I won’t try to understand where did you get the idea that Lilith was an angel, since your own link doesn’t say that. But at least read what you’re going to post.

Now all of us, myself very much included, let’s stop derailing the thread.

Perhaps because of the Mesopotamian Lilitu?

Wasnt the Lilitu considered like a birdwoman who would eat children and sleep with men or something? I can see equating that with goddess of a sorts and goddess to Angel but im the one admitting I dont know anything about angels so take it with a grain of salt lmao.

Dont worry about derailing the thread, I dont mind. Were still talking about angels. Perhaps this can help me understand precisely who/what they are.

U do know all the stories about Lilith and other entries are written by men? espcially by Christian, Judath, and other belief that didn’t like how there were strong indepent female entries.

That still doesn’t make Lilith an angel, dude lol

Well, @NeoFightTheNyophite what you saying is truth, but it’s just ones legend/myth/stories written about her.

But what makes her an Angel? Is it just that she fucked samael? Or is it something about her nature? What does it mean for her to be an Angel? Genuine questions.

I’m sure, if you or someone else look up, and find information about ones her stories/legends/myth out there. I sure there at least a couple, or one stories/myth/legends that talk about her being a fallen angel, or any type of a angel.

There different type of angels, I mean think about it Lucifer were ones of those angels of heaven, before he fell. Once he fell from heaven, he became a fallen angel, inculding all the angels that rebel with him.
