Is it possible to learn martial arts from a demon?

Since some demons like paimon are said to teach all arts.

You could always ask them.

I would go with a spirit from Mars for that, Athena, Ares himself, or any type of war God/Goddess or spirit.

I have trained. I can’t imagine any scenario where a demon’s instruction can take the place of hands on training.

You would be surprised at the things you can learn from spirits, I’m always being surprised again and again.

I think you would do best to learn conventionally and then ask the demon how to improve, by showing you moves and also asking for nutritional & training advice, rather than expect them to teach you from scratch, but that’s just IMO.

I don’t see why not. According to tradition, the techniques that eventually became ninjitsu were originally taught to the ancient Japanese by the Tengu, half bird mountain spirits.

What most people tend to forget when it comes to martial arts, is the philosophical aspect within the practice. Whether it’s about karate, judo, ninjitsu, teakwondo or other branches within the Asian styles of self defense.

I’ve been practicing karate in my past, and did so for 7 years, and it’s very much philosophical, as much as it is practical.

A lot of ancient Asian combat practices teaches, not only the practicality of self defense, but also the morality of when to use it. There’s a lot of pride involved within martial arts, that often means to avoid fighting as long as possible and only use it when out of options.

This is the 7 Virtues Of Bushido, which is just a fraction of the philosophical and moral aspect of martial arts:

I think you should focus on the practical aspect by training conventionally, but the philosophical and moral part of martial arts is where you can learn a lot from demons, spirits or entities.

Also supposedly in javanese magick they have Kodams that teach or automatically help you out w/martial arts in combat situations( distance punches, power punches, different forms of invulnerability against being cut). You might want to look up info on that as well.

I practice ninjutsu and I don’t see why any spirit that can give a good orgasm couldn’t teach it

This is actually spoken about in Glenn Morris’s Ninjutsu books. I highly recommend his books for anyone thinking about studying authentic ninjutsu as well as esoteric aspects of the martial arts. Even has the aspects of Bushido included/encouraged \m/

I’ve read that book many times.

@DarkestKnight It’s not just ninjutsu. As far as I am aware pretty much all of the Japanese martial arts are spirit transmitted.

I can vouch for the fact that those sorts of skills are real.

Even the many styles of karate?

@Supernatual Karate is barely Japanese in many ways. Okinawa was historically sort of a remote island isolated from the rest of Japan I believe. I am talking more traditional Kenjutsu forms and all that.
