Invisibility, what does it mean?

Some demons grant invisibility, is this a euphemism? If so , what kind of inviisbility would be granted and why is it useful?

If you read other convos about this find via the search, the general consensus is it’s a kind of glamour: you’re not actually invisible, the minds of observers are influenced not to notice you.

That’s one use yes. One of the forums owners E.A., talked in his livestreams about an incident where he became invisible to the extent that people looking for him to physicslly attack him looked right through him and then didn’t see him and moved on.

He could still see himself, so it’s seems not a piggyback light effect, it’s mental.

I guess the actual contemplation of what your world would be like if you were genuinely actually invisible answers my question.

I’ve only experimented with this once It just made me less noticeable. Like more people physically bumped into me in the street. I had to “ahem” to get the attention of shop staff at the counter more than usual, I would have to call out to get the attention of friends I passed in the street more than usual.

So I would say that in the case of a number of people, visual awareness of me just became a lesser flag for their brain filtering than other human stimuli, for want of a better phrase.

It helps with going unnoticed

I used to go to school in a really dangerous area and had to regularly walk through a bad neighborhood. The people in the neighborhood were mostly fine, but it was a problem area because of those who would be regularly drawn to the area for drug transactions — and all of the subsequent sorts of crime that come about from that. Like think of the worst, not just muggings.

Anyway for years I would regularly employ invisibility when I had to walk through that area, esp if doing so alone was unavoidable.

Invisibility can also be used to shield one from detection in magick.

In my experience, invisibility would be a kind of protection and shielding against another magician who sends spirits to attack you, but since it is invisible the spirit does not find the target and you are protected, as well as other threats such as energy vampires and astral larvae, in My opinion was that it was always for protection. not literally

  • Hi! Yes, the above statement was written correctly. Demons can give you this ability. You will be invisible to other people in the situation you need. Something like a hassle or a cap of invisibility, so to speak. This is a very useful ability that they can give you in certain situations, for example, when something threatens your life in the real world.
